I should kick myself!

Postby itch » Tue Jul 10, 2007 7:14 pm

I'll spare you the long story of how I was stuck at school with only about an hour before my majorly important research paper was due, when I was forced to call my parents, give them my computer's password so they could get into my private files, to read to me something in them for the paper.

*exagerated sigh*

So I finally got around to changing my password yesturday, and now it doesn't work!
I just got over cleaning out 3 viruses and 7 spyware . . . now this? It's almost more than I can bear. :shake:
I really admire computer nerds and such so all the help you can give me is welcomed with five pairs of open arms. ^^

Did I insult you with the computer nerd comment? I'm thinking of becoming one myself, honest . . .

I would imagine the more likely scenario is that no one had anything much of substance to say in response (and respones often take time). As far as your password trouble, can you be more specific? My impression is that you changed the password and now cannot access your account a second time. If so, try passwords that are similar and you could have typed accidentally (say, all in capslock, or minor typos). If that doesn't work you'll have to contact an administrator and prove your identity.
