Bump. If anyone wants to meet me, look for a guy in a kilt with long black hair. That actually really narrows it down.

Do you think I'll see you on Day 2?
I believe Flatfoot 56 is playing then.

Oh you will see me at Flatfoot. Look for the guy in the kilt in the pit. I will wear my green kilt that day.

I think I'll look for you then because I'm confident you would stand out more.

I'll sound ultra nerdy when I say "I know this guy on a forum" but it will be worth it.

I'll shout "WHAT UP STEVE?" if I see you.

I should be very easy to spot. CAA'rs in the past have found it quite easy spotting a guy wearing a kilt. 9 Days away!

Well, you could always pick a day that has the most bands you want to see playing and come.

At a Flatfoot show?

I would assume of all of the bands there...that one would have the most kilt-cladded fans.

Nope. Last year, me and Flatfoots Bagpipe player were the only 2 kilt wearers in the entire 20k plus festival. We ended up talking about kilts for like 20 minutes after the show too.

Anyways, I hope I'll spot you, Steve.

"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things... hey... the good things don't always soften the bad things; but vice-versa the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant." -11th Doctor

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close

UPDATE!!!

Well, I just got back from Soulfest.
It was an awesome two days.

I met up with Steve, Zilch aka "Aaron D", and Grubthefragger and they were all really cool guys even in person.

I saw a lot of good bands like The Chariot, War of Ages, Nailpoint Payment, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Before Their Eyes, Flatfoot 56 (WALL OF DEATH/GRILLED CHEESE SANDWHICH), Leeland, Disciple, ect.

Moshing and Hardcore dancing was really fun, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle at the Inhale Exhale show and am sitting right now with my foot resting on a pack of ice.

Overall, my three favorite shows were The Chariot, Flatfoot 56, and Inhale Exhale, even considering the injury.

I could say a lot of things about Soulfest, but I think I'll wait until I have a few pictures before I say anything. ;p

Juuuust trust me on that.

Ok. Picture time. I wish I could host all the pics I took for everyone...but I just don't have time to shrink and host them. I take them at full quality, so each one is like 2.5mb. Now figure I took around 250 pictures....and you see what I am saying. So I went through, and took the ones that people would love to see the most. And what I felt were some of my best pics. (I have so many I love that turned out great, it was hard picking) But I hope everyone enjoys these. The pics are of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Red, Project 86, and Flatfoot 56. It was fun meeting ya Tom. Sorry to hear you got hurt though. Project was everything I hoped it would be and more. One of my fav shows ever probably. Hopefully they will return next year and you can make it. But without further yammering, the pics!

Nice pics.
Now I'm really mad I missed Project.
Hopefully I'll be able to post my pics with The Chariot.

One question you can answer for a dying man:
Was the bassist that played at the Inhale Exhale show the official bassist because I remember the official bassist being Brian from Relient K.
Then again, I don't remember seeing you at Inhale Exhale.

As a matter of fact, if I had just skipped that show and went to He is Legend, I wouldn't have sprained my ankle.

So Steve, was I less irritating and juvenile in person? =D

You came off a lot different in person, then you do online. And I was glad I ended up getting to meet ya. I missed Inhale Exhale cause I was eating hotdogs back at camp lol. And He is Legend was a hoot. But I was kinda tired so I sat back on the hill in a chair like an old fart lol.

I can get away with being a bratty kid here.
I care more about my rep with people I know in person.

Now that I know you in person I might actually think things through before I say them. :)

A few more pics taken from Steve's stash.

First pic: Steve and I vie for control of the camera.

Second pic: You have one minute to get Dallas Taylor a chalupa. Starting thirty seconds ago.

Third pic: Growing tired of telling us to get off his lawn, Steve relents to group photoing (from front to left to right, Steve, my friend Stephanie, GrubbtheFragger's girlfriend Suzy, Grubb himself, my girlfriend Janelle in my Kyo hat, and me, sunburnt to an absolute crisp)

There's plenty more where that came from, but it'd be a lot of Flatfoot 56, War of Ages and me with my girlfriend

I'm telling ya.
Jeff looked older in the pic of him last year.
It must have been the angle or something.

Zilch, I also felt like adding you like a LOT older than him, but....you're not.
You looked 24 in person and he looked 17 IMO.

Brian isn't in Inhale Exhale anymore.

Also, you chose Inhale Exhale over He Is Legend? Bad strategy, Mr. T. Bad strategy.

I'm not a big fan of He is Legend.

They're a decent group, but I like Inhale Exhale more.

However, Brian not being there made the experience less exciting.
I just read their page on Wiki to find out his reason of departure.

EDIT: If I didn't sprain my ankle I would have seen He is Legend anyways.
