I liked the Naruto episode when Naruto goes to a funeral and is not allowed to laugh at all. An old man walks in with only three hairs on his head. One by one, each hair eventually falls off. Naruto tries soooo hard not to laugh. . .(Even though it's an old episode, I don't want to create a spoiler.)

Anyhow, there were these three people who were constantly trying to off themselves in a suicide pact...and messing it up. Well one time they get the idea to jump in front of a subway. They are right about to jump....and someone takes a flying leap right in front of them into the subway! It was all so sudden it was funny, dark but funny. So they decide not to do it.

1. Eureka Seven - The first episode is full of funny moments, but the one that stands out in my head is after Eureka asks for the Flamethrower. Renton is sitting in Nirvash talking to his sister saying stuff like "Sure she's a little weird, but she's cares enough about my room to burn...burn...BURN?!!?!?" The next scene shows Renton's room blown to bits with Eureka kneeling by the blaze, praying. Seeing how serene she was and how frantic Renton was just leaves me screaming.

2. Trigun - I love the scene when Wolfwood is first introduced. He's sitting out in the desert, slumped over. The bus driver comes up to him and pokes. Wolfwood wakes up and says my all time favorite line: "Well, Praise the Lord, hello!"

Funny moment ehhh.....

I remember a certain episode on Sonic X where the entire gang goes on a cruise and Sonic goes absolutly nut's becuase he's cuupped up on a ship surrounded by water...No Open spaces! He seriously looses it!.. :wow!: ..Probably one of the only episodes in the first season where Sonic actually loses his marbles... ...You'd have to see it to really understand....

Then there's episode three of Naruto where Naruto keeps on going to the bathroom..... .... :dizzy: ....

I loooove that Sonic episode...I only wish I could see it in Japanese. I mean, seriously:
Is it even possible for Sonic, when his mind is working properly, to tell Amy that she drives him wild? Sure, it was just a ploy to get off the ship, but still, it was hilarious. I heard that it was translated almost perfectly. But when it all came out, that was even funnier. "SOOOOONIIIIIIIIIC!!!!!!!"
And yeah, that part in the beginning, after Amy gives him a "pep talk" and he walks away, haaa... "I was too overwhelming!!"

I'm not a Naruto fan, but that sounds hilarious.

Basically the entire series of Full Metal Alchemist (how could anyone not have mentioned it before now? Shock! :wow!: ). Seriously, there's at least five pure comic moments in every single episode. But naturally the funniest episode is the filler episode 37. Whenever I'm feeling blue, all I have to do is watch a few minutes of that and I'm happy again. ("It must be the spring of my life!" "Tell me who is responsible for this!" "I like to play piano a little.... That is, I like to lift the piano a little.")

Another one of my favorite funny moments in anime is in Escaflowne (the series), where Merle is mimicking Hitomi in an exaggerated way. Merle is funny in general anyway.
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

Pani Poni Dash made me laugh like no tomorrow. I was crying, I was laughing so hard. Ichijo is such a loon, Himeko is a ditz, Becky (the teacher) cries all the time because Rei is mean to her. Mesousa is the funniest character because he's always emo. There's one objectionable thing though, besides the language and sex. One cat says he's God, but it's more funny than blasphemous. He lives in a vending machine and heats the soda. "Soda is body temparature, nyan!"

^-^ All the GTO episodes I've seen never fail to make me laugh, It's an hilarious Series! Same the the Cromati (Hope I spelled that right) Highschool series, although I've only seen a few episodes of it. It hit me as bizarre and strange, but very funny and entertaining too!

one of the more recent animes that made me laugh really hard was Bleach.

That one episode where that spiritual-y guy comes, and all his fans go BWA HA HA HAH!!! And Ichigo was there, and he saw Rukia- and all of a sudden she goes BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Like in my avatar. XD

That made me laugh really hard.

I saw Tenchi episode 6 on Sunday and the ending is quite hilarious when
Washu asks Tenchi:"Will you be my guinea pig?"

oh! I remember another funny anime moment. ^_^ The whole Halloween thing on Ouran Host Club is pretty great and made me laugh quite a bit ^.^ Actually, the whole series (26 episodes) is pretty funny! I definatly recommend it if you're looking for a good series.

In the opening scene of episode 3 of the Original Dirty Pair OVA Kei and Yuri have to wear these really long dresses because of the modesty rules of the religious cult they're investigating and what makes it funny is Yuri has no problem at all walking around in it but Kei is having all sorts of problems.

It isn't technically a anime, nor is it technically a manga, but I have to find a translation of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gakuen_Kino

It appears Keiichi-san does indeed have a sense of humor. XD
