Excluding the crying part you are 100% correct.

How about every Disney channel show that was on 7 years ago about 90% of those rocked.

For me, my favorite modern day American show would include King of the Hill, Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack.

My favorite "past" show would have to be The Flintstones.

Does Reboot count? I kinda disqualified it due to the CG art, but come to think of it, it's still non-Japanese even if it isn't traditional.

In that case, I'm tacking Reboot and Shadow Raiders onto my list.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. I watched a ton of Looney Tunes as a kid. I just recently bought one of the Golden Collections. I love it. I'd like to get some of the old Disney shorts and Tom and Jerry too.

Television:
Rainbow Brite
Random Disney Channel stuff back in the 80s
Ninja Turtles
Garfield specials and the Saturday morning show

Feature films:
Pinocchio
Lady and the Tramp
Cinderella
Bambi
Robin Hood
An American Tail
Land Before Time
All Dogs Go To Heaven

...and a lot more, I just can't think of them all.

Hmm . . .
Inspector freaking Gadget [heck yes ~ if they have a boxset of that show, I'd ask for it for Christmas.]
Samurai Jack [again, heck yes ~ I think they should have upped the target audience a bit, since they did some silly things that I think didn't do the idea justice ~ I would like the boxset. Scotsman FTW]
Avatar: the Last Airbender [what I've seen of it, anyway [not much, admittedly] ~ I think it's one of the better American toons I've seen in a while]
Xiaolin Showdown [it was pretty good ~ not the best, I think, but it had its share of cool parts.]
Teen Titans [Raven pwns you. She just does.]
new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [I like the style]
Most anything Pixar [especially the Incredibles ~ best Pixar flick ever IMO]
ReBoot [Bob was the man. His car was cool ~ it was based on a red convertible '59 Cadillac El Dorado Biarritz if I remember, which is one of my favorite old cars]
Tom and Jerry [I used to LOVE that cartoon]
The Adventures of Rocky and Bulwinkle [for the randomness and bad puns alone]

And again, she is too late. *grins and pulls out shovel*

I'll try compiling a list later, but for now...

Raiden no Kishi wrote:Teen Titans [Raven pwns you. She just does.]

Hmm...I'll take that as proof that she is UN-DOUBTEDLY the most popular character for that series.

And someone else on here likes Bonkers!! Yay!!

Let's see... On the TV front, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Tale Spin and all those good ol' Disney Afternoon shows are great, as is Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain, and Freakazoid! Powerpuff Girls is right up there too, as is Inspector Gadget and also Teen Titans (noooo, really?) Oh, and can't forget Futurama.

As fer movies, my faves are largely Disney related in one way or another: Fantasia, Aladdin, Dumbo, Alice in Wodnerland, The Lion King, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver & Company, and of course all the Pixar movies (The Incredibles and Toy Story 2 above all else. Going outside the realm of the mouse, The Brave Little Toaster and The Powerpuff Girls Movie are also at the top of my list.

I like Freakazoid, South Park and the numerous Justice League series' that have been released over the years. Two big ones that I'll never forget have to be the 1995 cartoons of X-men and Spiderman both of which don't have DVDs out... :)

OH!!! I totally forgot about this, since it's a "holiday movie" and all, but The Snowman is one of the greatest pieces of animation EVER.

Chicken Little was actually pretty good. The pop-culture references were a nice touch.

Here are some of my favorites.

TV Shows:

Animaniacs
Bonkers
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
The Weekenders (I love how the pizza place changes...)
Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi
Marsupilami (haven't seen this in soooooooo long; why does Toon Disney cast off all of its old shows?!?!?!?!)
Teen Titans (as if you couldn't tell, lol...)
Kim Possible
Lilo & Stitch: the Series

Movies:

Meet the Robinsons (was actually entertaining)
Beauty and the Beast (haven't seen this in a long time either)
Lilo & Stitch
Robin Hood (a classic)
I liked Ferngully: the Last Rainforest a long time ago,
and PIXAR RULES!!!!!!! I can't wait to see Ratatouille this summer.

And there's probably more, but this is a starter list.

I liked the one they aired on Toon Disney.Toon Disney has had some of the better non-Japanese animation:Gargoyles;W.I.T.C.H.;Oban,Star-Racers(I think Oban is actually named for the place in Scotland);Legend of the Dragon(just wish they would do a second season now that Ling is one of the Good Guys),etc.

Has anyone seen the old 60's Spiderman cartoon? I love some of the animation goofs, like when they used an animation for jumping back and forth between four buildings and there were only three in the background...the last jump had him clinging onto thin air!!

Also, I heard that Toon Disney is bringing Bonkers back this summer. I guess they figure since they're not really planning a DVD release they can do that.
