i'd have to say i truly and deeply miss thundercats, they are the reason that i originally began watching toonami in the first place because i watched thundercats when i was a child in the 80's, outlaw star was good, i also remember when it was on toonami, then later it got switched to a/s when they first began to air cowboy bebop, i own one of the outlaw star dvds but i'd like to get the whole set, either that or record what they showed on c/n, whichever's easier for me, gundam wing was great, a true piece of artwork both visually, the themes that were involved, and the overall storyline was good too, and then they had endless waltz that tied up all the loose ends that were left behind in the series, truly good stuff

*sniff sniff*
*gets all teary-eyed from all the good memories*

Toonzone

If you look up at the top, they have schedules for all of the networks.

And btw: Rurouni Kenshin will be leaving Toonami on March 19th, making way for a full hour of Dragonball GT.

"stupid fat hobbits's" they don't know what good anime is!! first they take off thundercats, then outlaw star, then they re-run dbz to death, then they take off gundam wing, and now they wish to do away with the wonderful rurouni kenshin, oh yeah, it's on now

*draws his katana*

*switches from rurouni to hitokiri in his mind*

oh yes, and i will become a manslayer once again to accomplish this task

*runs off to go find the idiots running c/n*

For me:
"Whatever happened to Robot Jones" - Very quirky
And
"Tenchi in Tokyo" only cause I was taping it and they replace the last episode with THUNDERCATS!!!!!!! ARGGGGGG!!!!
In hindsight, its not that bad since Tenchi in Tokyo is the weakest of the Tenchi series IMO, but then, CURSE YOU LIONO!!!

I wish CN would put SD Gundam and Gundam Wing back on the air. Also Zoids Fuzors because the show still had episodes that were to be aired.

I wish they'd air the rest of Kenshin. And that they still aired Yu Yu Hakusho so I could see what I missed. At least I got to see the ending.

For the American in me, Batman - The Animated Series and The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest are sorely missing from today's Cartoon Network lineup. For the Anime fan, I wish they had shown the Read or Die OVA more than once, cause I missed it the first time and had to track it down online. But now I owe it, so no matter. Samurai Champloo is also lacking.

Oh my gosh, yes. XD Johnny Quest was an awesome show.

Anyways, I miss the "good ol' days" of Toonami--you know, back when it came on in the afternoons. I'd like to see them show DBZ again, along with Outlaw Star. And while I think it'd be nice if they showed Kenshin again, I own most of the series now anyways, so there's really not much need as far as I'm concerned. XD

CN used to have the rights to Gundam Wing though. If you have a Gundam Wing
DVD they have those ads for GW toys at the beginning that were run on CN.
Since I have DVD 5 I know what I am talking about.

Any way one question I have is why did CN cancel Outlaw Star before airing
ep.#23?I read yesterday at Wikiepedia that the show was cancelled before
they could run the final episodes.

You didn't let me finish editing my post. What I meant was they don't have the rights to those animes now. I knew that they had the rights to Gundam Wing, I was re editing the post to put all of the anime that CN doesn't have the TV rights anymore. Still not done with it and I know that I have miss a few.

Maybe they meant it was cancel, when they aired it on Adult Swim.

When it aired on Toonami they showed all of the eps other then ep 23.

Blue Gender - I would LOVE to see how it ended (the whole series, that is!)

Kikaider - I really miss Jiro!

Outlaw Star - Hey, wait...I GOT THE DVD'S!!!

Pilot Candidate - I loved the graphics and the characters were really great! Crying shame it wasn't longer!

Tenchi Muyo - I only have the "Universe" story ark, but I would love to see "Muyo" again!"

Wolf's Rain - Great characters, great animation, confusing plot, but BRILLIANT V/A's! One in a million!

Yu Yu Hakusho - This was my first introduction to REAL anime!

Read or Die - I only saw the movie, but from what i've seen, I want MORE!!

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo - What I wouldn't give to hear one chorus of "Wild Challenger!" That show rocked!

Rurouni Kenshin - Classic anime that went out before it's time!

Rurouni Kenshin - Classic anime that went out before it's time!

Though that was due more to the anime never getting finished, and just doing a bunch of random filler after the Kyoto Arc.

*sigh* Animated Gein vs. Aoshi would have rocked. >_>

True, although it was also due to the whole "Christian" aspect-ish thing, too (or so I heard). And I totally agree. XD

And I'd love for them to cancel Nuruutoe but like that's ever gonna happen

Oh and I know why Nuruutoe is the best ninja anime in the U.S. 'Cause it's the only one XD

That was one of the reasons and the other was, it bomb in rating on toonami.

This was the reason why they moved it to Sat night and hope that it would do better.

It didn't and they didn't want any part of the show after that.

Believe me, you are not missing anything great. I slam my head into the wall after watching and wasting all that time on the dvd's

ROD OVA was just a one time thing for AS. They took the OVA, which was three parts and edited it together to make a movie out of it.

There is the Read or Die tv series or better known as Read or Dream, its a stand alone anime and doesn't have anything to do with ROD OVA. It doesn't even have Ms. Deep in this one.

I miss Toonami. Seriously. I miss Macross, Outlaw Star, and Samurai Jack. I wanted to see Macross and Outlaw Star, and I wanted some plot conclusion for Samurai Jack. Or some cool "walk off into the sunset" sort of thing. And Toonami pwned. Cartoon Network should stick to showing other people's cartoons [with the exception of Samurai Jack] ~ most of theirs are wastes of airtime.
