Favorite Narnia character besides Aslan

OK, folks, time for you to name your favorite Narnia character. I'm excluding Aslan because he represents Jesus Christ, so it would seem everyone would pick him.
I'd pick Reepicheep. I like how he's so small, but so brave and loyal. Plus the scene where he's playing chess with Lucy in Voyage of the Dawn Treader is pretty funny.

Lemme see... Caspian was quite a likeable character, as was Puddleglum (I mean, he's this frog-person after all, and the name "Marsh-Wiggle" is amusing^^). All I can think of at the moment...

Lucy.She's the sweetest character and is always in most of the action until it switches over to Jill and Eustace in The Silver Chair.(except of course
THE HORSE AND HIS BOY)

Edmund. I really like his story--how he starts off as a spoiled brat, and then becomes a hero. Gives hope to us all, I think. ^^
(Plus, I have to admit, I do love Turkish Delight...)

Edmund is such a great character because he shows that you can screw up royally and God will still love you.

Eustace has a similar story as well. And it's amusing to see how they change as a person later on, after their bad experiences.

She's a great dictator!! And who couldn't love a puppy-eyed secret police chief, eh???

I don't much like any of the kids, but if I had to pick one group of Narnia brats it would be Shasta and Aravis or Jill and Eustace. Jill and Eustace are like a mini Mark and Jane Studdock.

Aw, Mr Tumnus is such a loveable satyr! I've always wondered if C. S. Lewis based him on the Greek god Pan. That may explain his panpipes.

I think Susan may be the character everyone who has read the entire series fears most. She is the one who knew and followed Aslan, but rejected him in the end. I think, as we follow the allegory Lewis has created, we all fear to some extent whether a great fear or just a minimal passing concern, that we might fall to the same temptation. In some way we fear the unforgivable sin: the ultimate and final rejection of the grace God so generously pours out on us. But be encouraged that as long as you have that concern you are not in danger of this rejection. However, I believe it may explain why we are uncomfortable with Susan.

Incidentally, my favorite character is Lucy.

Hmmm my favorite character would have to be Puddleglum because he is allways negative about things and he is especially funny when he gets drunk.

I don't really fear her, I pity her. I think the main reason she failed was because, as C. S. Lewis suggests, she grew up too fast. Remember, Jesus said that only those who are like children can enter Heaven. I take it to mean that we must hold on to that childhood innocense we all share as much as possible, as illustrated by that beautiful song "I Hope You Dance".

XD Susan was always a rather annoying and insecure person. Obssessed with what people though of her instead of what God thought of her.

My question simply was,Does anyone like Susan?It wasn't to start a debate,I honestly want to know if there are Narnia fans who like Susan.
I think there are a lot of good things about her,for example she was the one that
was given the bow and arrow and the magic horn,throughout the rest of the series it is referred to as Queen Susan's Horn.
Certainly she had the potential of nobility in her.Perhaps the deaths of her parents and brothers and sister in the Real World acted as a wake up call for her.We will never know.
btw:If Susan had died in the train wreck it would have been noted.

There are many Susan fans on NarniaWeb.com

But I don't see the fuss. Some people just can't tolerate that C.S. was using her character to illustrate that even people of faith can fall away from God if they don't keep trusting in Him. It's there for a reason.

Having just started The Last Battle today, I can certainly name a character I hate (so, being at the other end of the spectrum): that horrible ape Shift! Ug, I HATE that thing (C.S. Lewis did desribe him as physically, as what described his nature). And I feel really bad for poor Puzzle, being dragged into everything, even though it was wrong... I do like the bond between Rilian and Jewel (although it is sort of an odd name for a male^^)

I agree. I believe that was his intention. To remind us that we all fall short.
Oh, and johnyouth, don't apologize. Your point was so enlightening.
I think the most terrifying Narnia character was definitely the witch in the Silver Chair. When she cast her spell and made everyone forget Narnia and where they came from, it really sent shivers up my spine. Especially when she kept insisting they were wrong and they began to fall for it so easily.

I think the most pathetic character was the Carolmene Prince who later became
the Tisroc at the end of The Horse And His Boy because Aslan had to resort to turning him into a donkey to teach him a valuable but humiliating lesson.
