Best places to buy anime online?

Postby desperado » Thu Jan 10, 2008 10:21 am

Sorry if there is already a thread but could not find one.

So my question is, what are all the good sites to buy anime from? Im wanting to shop around to get the best price on gunbuster but I dont want to buy from a disreputable site.

There is a thread about anime purchasing resources, it's just 11 months old, so don't worry about not being able to find it. =) I mainly use Ebay myself, but you have to be very careful about bootlegs.
RightStuf is also a good store.. In fact, my order from them should arrive tomorrow. =)

Yeah, Rightstuf is a big one. They have really very good deals and sales.
Amazon's also quite reliable, and you sometimes find good deals.
And while I don't have experience with them personally, I believe DeepDiscount is another reasonably popular one.

so far the place I've been using is http://www.discountanimedvd.com Just check around every day/week or so. Or sign up for their newsletters. They tend to have sales all the time on manga, various company dvd's, wallscrolls, figures, etc.

I just want to point something out about http://www.discountanimedvd.com/

Buy the Domestic dvd's. They are fine, but I would stay away from the import dvd's. Just about all of the imported dvd's were released By Anime Cartoon.

Animenation
Rightstuf
Robert's Anime Corner Store
those are the big three for online anime stores as far as I know,at least
they seem to be the best three.I have ordered from both Animenation and Rightstuf and have been satisfied with both.I haven't ordered from
Robert's Anime Corner Store(aka The Anime Corner Store)so can't say anything about it.
