YAY! My Nadsico Box set came in today!

My box set came in today... It's 6 discs, which is the legitamate number, and it doesn't look like like a copied CD (but I've never seen a copied DVD so I don't know if it has the same tell-tale markings...) so it all looks to be legit...
I'm excited... I moved our Family DVD player into my room, and have been watching them. I realized there was at least 1 ep I'd never seen before, and I am enjoying being able to watch it all in both the dub and in Japanese...
now I gotta wait for my MST3k set to come in... Man, I've been long overdo for some Misting...
EDIT: Wow, only 6 views, and 3 of them are mine... that's really sad... Oh well... I threw it at the wall, it didn't stick... or something like that (why do I feel like I've made an aino minako moment?)

Yeah...where is this MST3K box set you speak of?
I just ordered the Rouroni Kenshin complete series...I hope that is also legit.

Yeah, I probably won't order any more box sets of anime off half because I'm affraid it will be a pirate set... Most of the nadesico were, by indirect admission, Hong Kong pirate sets... I had to hunt down a good one... I reported at least 1 person selling a pirated set. One good way is to ask how many discs it has, and match that with the legit set, but that's not foolproof... They can still lie (and if they do, you can file a claim!)
I still don't have my MST set... *iz sad*

I won my Kenshin set on Ebay. I really had to look to find one that wasn't from Asia, with a suspicious copied picture of the item. Still, I suppose it could turn out to be a fake. Let's hope not...it was rather expensive!

yeah, but the stuff there is all sold FULL PRICE... Anime is pricy (but still cheaper here than in Japan... Man, 2 eps for the equivalent of 40-45 dollars! I wouldn't even bother... or, I suppose that could just be the charge imposed by importing it...)

Ooh! Nice! Boogiepop for 40... But, are you SURE these are all legit?? Isn't it possible a site like imahongkongpirate.com could post their low priced bootlegs and we're none the wiser?

I am pretty sure the sites are all legit. I'm going to start shopping at some of those sites instead of buying anime at retail stores... too expensive.
