Well, the 7th season box set is now in my possession. Now I've got all the TV episodes, all the domestically released OAVs, and all the movies. There. It's over.
... except for the manga ...
... and the other series I collect ...

It's the first series I started collecting. It was kind of sad when it was all over. I even have a copy of the Battle Of The Songs Special. It's not fansubbed, just the raw broadcast, but it's mostly music anyway.
But there are many, many more titles out there now that also have my attention.

I'm eventually going to start collecting this series. One thing I really dislike is when a series I'm really enjoying ends. It always leaves an empty feeling inside.

Where did you get this from? I assume this is the same as the "Hot Songs Contest" with the same tracks (Akane's Baka Song, November Rain, April Fools, Nabiki's New Year's money song) ... ?
There are several Kitty-specific video releases I'd like to find that Viz either isn't planning to release, or doesn't even have rights to, that I've found referenced on a few fan sites.

After watching the OAVs I think that feeling is actually magnified with this series. While the final anime OAV ep is well-written (a rather creepy story about a doll invested with a vengeful spirit that switches bodies with Akane), it's definitely no proper closer to the show. That's why I'm waiting for Viz to finish translating all the manga issues, if they haven't already, so I can get the final one with their 'wedding' (even though I know what happens anyway).
Even more depressing, I read somewhere that since Takahashi Rumiko and Kitty Film had some sort of falling out, hence her selecting Sunrise for Inu-Yasha, the likelihood of there ever being a proper closing Ranma OAV seems very dim.

Sounds kind of like Tenchi OAV, it never really eneded, it just cut off.
