Who likes Teen Titans?

I know it is a controversial issue whether it can be called "anime" or not, but I was wondering how many of you like it. I think it's awesome! Have you guys seen Apprentice Pt. II? That plot was quite deep considering how the show usually is!

On gamefaqs.com, there is WAAAYYYYY too many posts about how 'hot' Raven and Starfire are, and other sick things regarding those two, so maybe if there are Teen Titans fans here some intelligent conversation can take place ;-)

I do enjoy Teen Titans. I really don't want to get into the "anime" argument once again. Personally I haven't seen that episode, but I'd be up for some intelligent conversation. Who's your favorite character and why?

Starfire! LOL

You might even say she's the most christian-like of the group in her morals... and you've gotta love all the hilarious scenes that come from her innocence/ignorance too!

Not to mention, she is quite cute, plus her powers are very cool! :cool:

Personally, I'm curious about the alien race that she came from and why she ended up on earth. Of course, with your trusty book of super-hero cliches, it's not hard to guess : P

Teen Tians is one of my favorite shows. I like Beast boy that most. Personally anime and cartoons are the same to me. I think people use to two words to tell wich show came from Japan or the US

I like it okay. Not as much as my sister, but it's still good. My favorite charater is Beast Boy, he has a good personality and all. I also like Raven too, she became one of my favorites after that one episode where Cyborg and Beast Boy went into her mind...(One of my favorite episodes ^^)

Can any of you tell me if the main theme is sung in Japanese or Korean? My favorite character is a toss-up between Starfire and Raven.

The theme is a cross between Japanese and English.

I'm a Raven person myself. Unlike most, it seems, I really don't like ditzy characters. Raven is the most serious character by quite a long shot. The hooded costume and occasional glowing eyes helps too. All in all, though, I'd say she's my favorite character due to personality and rich backstory (at least, it will be rich if they follow the old comic series at all).

Anyone who detests Raven has to see "Nevermore." Great episode.

I haven't seen Nevermore, which is a bummer because everyone says how awesome it is! I also haven't seen "mad mod", so I'll keep checking in on Saturdays to see which one they're showing ;-) Tonight's rerun: "Divide and Conquer"

I can't wait until they put out more new ones!

I like this show quite a bit... Even though it has some corny humor, there is enough style and character interaction to keep me interested. TT is a fun show overall, but my favorite charactes would have to be the serious ones too.... like Raven. I also liked Terra :sweat:

I LOVE Teen Titans! They are realeasing the first DVD of Season 1 episodes in like Dec or something . . . I CAN'T WAIT! Starfire adn Raven are sooo cool! ^^

I LOVE TEEN TITANS!!!!!! I try to watch it EVERYDAY!!!! It's sooooo cool!!! But..I can't choose who's my favorite character. I like them all. They all have good personalities and powers. ^^ I like Robin cuz he's friendly, yet fierce at the same time. I like Raven cuz she's the deepest character. I like Starfire cuz she's so cute and pretty and her powers are good too. I like Cyborg cuz he's sucha easy-going guy and his personality is so cool. And he's so strong and his blue laser-ish thing is awesome. I like Beast Boy cuz he's so CUTE!! He's like the baby of the Titans and he's so CARING. They're so cooooooool!!! Yay!! ^^

I also enjoy Teen Titans.
Though I am not sure who my favorite character is... They all play an equaly important role in the group, and each of their personalities are interesting in their own way.

I think:
Robin is the most inteligent and resourseful
Cyborg is the strongest and toughest
Beast Boy is the most humorus and strange
Raven is the most powerful and the most reserved (or introspective)
Starfire is the most happy and friendly and dittsy

Of course I like Teen Titans, the cartoon. Raven recently got some new ink in the comics, which I don't mind, but her head's shaved now...bleh.

I don't think they'll be going into Raven's backstory in the cartoon. For a show aimed at kids, I find it very hard to believe they'll reveal that Raven's half-demon. Or if they do, everyone else will just say, "Oh, she's our friend so we don't care."

Terra's a lot better in the cartoon, she's not the chain-smoking tramp she was in the comics, so I actually kinda like her. Starfire's a lot more light-hearted too, I guess because her home planet isn't destroyed in the show. At least not yet...

i find it fun to watch time to time...when its on. My fav teen titan would have to be.... starfire proably. I also really liked Tera until well she was turned into stone. Cyborg is proably also up there as well with starfire.

Just got done watching the best ep of TT I've seen yet (only got to watch half though). Cyborg disguised himself as Stone to get to know the bad guys' plan. Just one question. Who was the pink-haired cutie in the black dress working for Brother Blood?

i agree! I love girls characters who are "shy" and "quiet"... much like sakaki from azumanga daioh ^_^

anyway, it may just as well be anime, with wetern superheros added onto it. You notice anime elements, such as sweatdrops, giant heads, eye-twitching, etc. Not to mention the first few episodes the theme song was in Japanese

I really like both Raven and Starfire. I enjoy each for what they are, just as I like both Sakaki and Tomo.

In both cases, though - Raven and Sakaki were my initial favorites as I generally gravitate to the quiet, brooding type, but both Starefire and Tomo won my respect with their energy and exuberance. Even though Tomo is a total idiot.

The anime influence is obvious, but the basic style is definitely American. I think it's a good mix.

ally-san..... you have a excellent point there! i never realized that in each other batman series, robin was just plain.... weird "holy marathons batman!" with his REEEAAALLLYYYYY short shorts..... which are more like.... big breifs than anything, plus their green. It's just scary

My only complaint with Teen Titans is they appear to make it so that the team is utterly powerless without Robin. That's annoying.

I didn't like Terra. She was kind of annoying, and her angst never interested me. *hides* Starfire was annoying sometimes, too. Though she's made me laugh lots of times, sometimes I just find her irritating.

Now enough negativity. My favorite character is Robin. He's a good, strong leader. I like his attitude, and not to mention, his battle techniques and moves. The Apprentice II rocked! XD
