Actually Gundam Wing is the only one I can stand. I've tried sampling the others, and I just have no stomach for it. Epyon was my favorite from GW, though. So there's my 2c.

I like the origional Gundam alot. Guess you could call that old school in a way. MS Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is also a big favorite of mine. The MS 8th Team dub was pretty good too.

8th MS! The only Gundam I've seen all the way through...LOL And since that is the case, it must be my favorite...

I've only seen GW and 08th Ms Team.
But MS Team was definetly the best. GW was good but at some point I just lost any interest in it... and the producer could have used a little more fashion in it. Come on Quatre, brown, blue and pink just doesn't match!! :eyebrow: And Heero, if I were you, I would go around wearing spendex...
One thing though, Quatre means four in french, so in math class, everytime the teach went like: quatre plus cinq. I started thinking about GW.
Anyway, does anyone have seen SEED? Is it good?

i'd have to agree....

after just watching the first 31 or so episodes of Gundam Seed, i gotta say that it is undoubtable the coolest Gundam series yet.

man the mobile suit designs are incredible......the music is top notch......and best of all, they're actually focusing a lot on character development, drama, and plot......

if you can get your hands on the bundle package online (ep 1-40)... do it.....it's still running in japan from what i understand....and i think its on season 3......(EP 44 or so)......

when this officially hits the states, the mainstream Gundam fans are gonna go ape-poop.

i'm addicted

personally I got the funsubs off Kazaa and IRC streams to start with.......i don't want to advocate file sharing though since it's a personal conviction thing.

gimme a few months to catch my bills up, and i'll be ordering the bundle DVDs from overseas anyway about it.

just watched up to ep 40.....un-believe-able.....

in my opinion SEED blows Gundam Wing straight out of the water....

i'd rant about some of the coolest stuff about it that i haven't mentioned....but i wouldn't want to spoil it for ya :thumb:

My favorite Gundam is "Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket" an OVA set in the original Gundam universe where a boy living on one of the colonies befriends a soldier from the Principality of Zeon (bad guys of the original gundam universe) on a mission to destroy a new Gundam that is being built on the colony, when his mobile suit crashed. Unknown to him, his other friend, a girl that lives next door, is the pilot of the newly built Gundam.

It's different as it tells from the point of view of a boy who loves mobile suits, and a Zeon soldier in hiding from the Federation. It's a very good story of friendship and war. (All or at least most Gundam stories are about anti-war IMO) Highly recommended!

Of course, I like Gundam Wing as well, it was sort of original, had cool suits, and the story is original.

Thats awesome, heh, interesting thing that I've just started to model Gundam stuff, though I watched my first Gundam way back...

The only model that I have is the Epyon, and it's a level 1 :rolls_eye

My husband is a diehard Gundam fan. UC Gundam. I didn't care much for mecha before I met him, but he made me watch 0080 and I've loved Gundam ever since. Neither one of us cares all that much for Wing. The whole bishonen team thing is just... trite.

Well, it is. ;)

0079, MS 8th Team, 0080 and Char's Counter Attack I dig. That scene with Amuro leaping from his Jeep to attack Char is one of my favorite anime scenes. That just cracked me up. And Char is just plain awesome. There's no getting around it. I still need to watch Z and ZZ all the way through...

Anyway, regarding the modeling... My husband also builds Gundam models. He's quite the nerd about it, too. ;) But the man is good with the airbrush and customizing, so I gotta give him his due. He does good work. I have four of his models featured on my site: http://www.sugoiweb.com/models/index.html

Very cool, now I wish I could model like that. :)

One thing I was confused about Wing was its political philosophy, it took me 2 times watching the series before I knew what was going on.

Duo02, I think the "G" in "G-Gundam" stands for "God." Because there is a "God Gundam" Model#GF13-017NJII made by Neo Japan and piloted by Domon Kasshu of the Gundam Fighters. Though I have watched 1 episode (and didn't really like it, sorry), I believe that there is a force called the "Devil Gundam Corps." that the Gundam Fighters battle.

So, now that SEED is out, what do you guys think? Predictions, fav characters and MS, just thoughts in general?
