She not really lazy, she just sitting around giving orders to the other humonculi. Which Sloth gets her orders from the puppetmaster.
Sloth looks like Trisha Elric. Which I pointed out early in the thread, she was created from the Elrics failed transmutation in the beginning of the series.
I don't think that the humonculi have to completely embody the sin they are named after. Many of them have those traits, yes, but not completely or have others. Greed, for example, has many redeeming qualities. For another, Lust has nearly no connection to her name except her dress. Sloth is somewhat slothful because she does so little overall.

Ah, I see.

I`ve been trying to find a website where I can listen to the theme song of this show.

Sloth,it should be noted,is the one who feeds all of the information to Lust because
she managed to ingratiate herself into the good services of the Fuhrer King Bradley.

Try this for the songs

IMPORTANT:

Do not look further in the site if you don't want to spoil the show completly. I made that mistake and now know more than I should.

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?

So, what did everyone think of last night's episode and Lujon?

I was pleasantly surprised to see Johnny Young Bosch guest starring. ^_^

Interesting the flashbacks with Lust. Did anyone besides me just go "Wow" over Lujon invoking a prayer? Understandably there are some theological errors (and some errors of judgement on Lujon's part later) but I thought it was great that there could be a good-guy character who could say a prayer without getting lambasted for it.

That being said, I also thought it was interesting how Lujon's search for a cure often parallel's our own walk through life. If we aren't careful it is so easy to be led astray (by Lust, in Lujon's case).

I can't remember though, was this little anime segment part of the manga or not. I don't seem to recall it.

At first I thought that Lust was actually showing some real compassion and then
at the end it was revealed that she was only using Lujohn for her own ends.
Now we know why she's called Lust,it's because she uses her sensuality to draw
men to do her will.
btw:Interesting that she was disturbed about destroying Lujohn because he brought back memories of her human original.

Lujon was just another Cornello or Mugear to the Homonculi....a means to their ends. The difference, though, being that I think it actually did stir up some emotions in Lust, besides confusion, that she didn't completely understand. In the end, though, their goal is paramount above all else and Lujon was a dangling cord that needed to be dealt with. The last thing they needed was this lovesick man chasing them around Amestris while their trying to do their master's bidding. In the end, though, there may have been SOME glimmer of remorse in her as they were riding away.

As to Lujon, I really did like the character. I found it incredibly cool that he was praying before he attempted to use his Pharmacy (In the manga, the land of Xing, to the far east, specializes in a form of medical alchemy called Pharmacy, so I'll refer to it as that here). He was slightly misguided (umm....the fact that her name is LUST didn't ring any bells in his head?), I still found him interesting.

There is some kind of Christian/Catholic-like religion in the Amestrian world. We've seen churches throughout the series, crosses in different places , Psyren dresses up as a nun, there's a Pastor that shows up as a character in the first FMA game, ect. It's a shame it's never expounded upon, but I guess it just makes for convenient set pieces considering the shows semi-western theme.

I must say....what an episode.... Lust had me confused the whole time. I think she`s the failed ressurection of a woman resembling her that a[[earently the glasses dude liked before. On another note, has anyone played the fMA video game? if so, Pm me and give your opinion on it and tell me how much the 1st and second covers storywise since I missed most of the first season.

What was sad though was that Lujohn really believed in Lust and thought she was
really helping him to cure his people.

One thing....did lust cause that stone disease? The one reson i assume this is because when Lujon died, he turned into that stone being due to Lust`s blade.

I would think that he was already infected by the time he met Lust so it didn't
really matter.Remember that it had been spreading throughout the area even
before Lust and the other Homunculi arrived so there's a good chance he had
already been infected.
Also it was probably one of those diseases that takes awhile to show which is
why Lujon probably didn't have any sign of it when he was with Lust.

Yes but notice it showed after he died...or you could be right.

I finally got to reading the manga online. I originally had a copy on hold to take out from the library but there were 20 people that had it on hold ahead of me. Pretty intesting. The online manga you guys showed me got to chapter 52..how many chapters are left? Whom is the MAIN villian?

Likewise about the source that goes to chap 52. I've only been able to find up to chapter 40

Yes that was rather interesting.I liked the fact that Hawkeye was totally uncommittal
when she had her chat with Winry.Though I forgot that Winry and the boys weren't
aware of Hughes' death.

Where`s Wrath?

No, Wrath hasn`t been introduced and I`m way past the point in the show where he is introduced.

Also
Greed dies a different way I see...He gets dipped in acid instead of killed by Ed.
Is 52 chapters the exact amount or are there nore?

I've read up to chapter 53 and the next chapter doesn't come out till December. If anyone wants the link just pm me, and I'll send it to you. One chapter is released in Japan each month. I'm pretty sure the movie is already out in Japan. I've seen some screencaps from it, but I don't think the movie has anything to do with the manga at all. I think it's more or less something made to tie up the loose ends of the anime or something(of course I haven't seen the end of the anime yet).

Also, if you really want to know who manga Wrath is:
In the manga Fuhrer King Bradley is Wrath. The little boy Wrath from the anime isn't even in the manga. Sloth is different as well.
you mean for the manga? Well then i don't know that answer since i've only watched the anime since the book store doesn't sell FMA.
Have we seen Pride yet, though? I had always suspected they had been switched. While the character is obviously different, the basic design could be the same. Then again, if the anime was finished before the manga even reached that point, they might be completely different.
