The person cosplaying with Legalos... for a split second I was scrolling down and saw Legalos, and thought something to the effect of "Wow, that's actually pretty good..." Then, of course, I took a decent look at the picture.

karo kano's not the actuall name thats just what my mom calls it i can't remember her real name but she's from his and her circumstances

Ahh Cosplay...the ever so crazy hobby full of....ever so crazy people!

GAH! WHY did ManFaye have to be mentioned here? When I first heard of him...I saw that site that had...err....Exclusive closeup pictures of both ends...and needless to say, I was terrified for life.

As for my own cosplay, I've done Camille Vidan of Z Gundam at Anime Central 2003, a "Mafia" version of him at the tiny little Kazecon...and Sailor Moon S' ever so crazed Dr.Tomoe at Anime Reactor.

I also did skits for each con I was at.

Is anybody here involved in Cosplay skits? Planning on anything for ACEN, Otakon, AX, or other major cons this year?

I've cosplayed as Frodo Baggins from LOTR (i have the hair and everything

). I've always wanted to cosplay as these characters:

Alucard from Hellsing
Wolfwood (complete with Cross Punicsher) from Trigun
Sano (complete with Zanbattou) from Kenshin
Naruto from......Naruto!!

Nightmare from Soul Calibur II

How's this? Sadly, not for a con, since there are none within, like, a thousand miles of where I live, but I have to satisfy my cosplay addiction nonetheless. Handmade in less than a week and costing a grand total of $7, I present the Genjo Sanzo costume! *dun dun dun* (That is not me, by the way. I look nothing like Sanzo.)

The pictures: one is just to show the outfit, and the other two are of Sanzo terrorizing some random fangirl. ^__^ As you might notice, I couldn't find a proper Smith & Wesson, and had to make do with a gaudy dart gun instead.

Is that a scary thought? Yes, that is a scary thought. I can't imagine that we'd ban you for it, though. Now some cosplayers do deserve to be banned. The chaotic side of me wants to find them and make them join so I can ban them.

On X-play, they went to an anime convention. This girl was dressed like "Mai Shiranui" She was like 16 or something, and if you know mai's costume, it's not the most conservative thing on the market... She's like "If my dad saw me like that, he'd kill me." Adam's like "It's a bit too late for that."

I think her costume was a bit more iffy than mai's real costume... Mai, I'm assuming, wore something more like a thick spandex or even cotton or something bikini bottom... This girl's was more like underwear.

They have a rule at Otakon: "No costume is no costume." One of the traveling cosplayers still gets away with it by wearing flesh colored one piece suits. She cosplayed as a character I won't mention (as it's probably a no-discuss show...) and actually adhered to the rules.

I can't tell you how many overweight male sailormoon cosplayers there are... It's just not right...

I want to cosplay as Menchii the dog, and someone be the translator so I can do the menchi song. It manages to crack up most who watch it, and annoy others. Both of which are very prudent ventures. :lol:

I know menchi's a female dog, but it's easier for me to get away with that than... well, you know.

It should be a rule for cosplayers... No silk... It just doesn't look good... Prolly 80% of the SM cosplayers use silk or something that shimmers... It just looks really cheesy.

I'm not the type to ever visit conventions, but I have seen some pictures recently. There was a Vash cosplayer... wow. That's a lot of work for a convention. His suit looked like it was molded out of plastic of some sort, but was identical to Vash's in every way. Same with the boots, glasses, gun, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he had on fake scars and a metal grate beneath it.

I couldn't decide whether to applaud or be somewhat disgusted.
