Ah, well... the only thing lisensed for the series so far is the manga. Unless I missed some huge announcemnet that the anime got lisensed... (but I know I'd go nuts if they did...)

Tokyopop lisensed the manga. It comes out this feburary.

my bad my bad, I think somehow I associated Juubee with the Gluhen version of Ken Hidaka of Weiss Kreuz. 0.o (ok let's not go there). Ahh...knives are a lot cooler than claws...(except for X-Men of Wolverine of course! ) hmm...i've only seen him with glasses on so far.

Shido is kinda interesting...he's like among the few characters I've seen with no/little eyebrows. Or am I seeing things wrong? And is there a reason why? Natural? I wonder whether that's why he wears such a wide band on his forehead...hehe

Oh my goodness!!! Shido really doesn't have eyebrows. He has eyebrow ridges but no eyebrows!

Kagami is a indecisive guy. He "obseverbs" everything. It is unknown where what his motives are although you should be meeting him soon. He his really powerful too even if he does just look likea pretty boy.

I am double posting cause I just realized I have been leaving some major hotties out of this. (And I just realized I have been spelling Kazuki's name wrong this whole time )

Anyway here is Miroku (at least it is sort of him) who you meet in episode 30 something. Powers: ummm... he can slice stuff with his sword

And Toshiki who you meet in the 40s somewhere. Powers: Not sure what to call it - these energy blasts come out of his hands.

And Kurusu Masaki who you also meet in the 40s somewhere. Powers: well I am not exactly sure what he even DOES... he uses light somehow to beat on people.

haha I think some of the girls are not bad in this series except for their disturbing physical proportions. It's kinda bad to judge by looks but I'm not easily impressed by anime/manga female characters. I forgot that blonde sexy woman's name though....she looks hot in the anime as compared to the manga and seems to be pretty tough at the same time. Come on, I'm a bishie fan! But don't get me wrong...there are female characters that I really admire (ex: Hina: penguin Brothers, Mizuki (Hana kimi), Tomoe (RK), Tsunade (Naruto), Misato (NGE), alright alright you get the point......it's just not, in GetBackers. ^^

GAH! I thought I would die of old age before I found this thread. >_< Anyway there is only one reason I am posting in here. After talking to someone recently, I learned something interesting about Get Backers. THERE IS NO YAOI IN THIS SHOW! This person was at an anime convention and was able to attend a discussion for the writer/creator of Get Backers. And when somebody asked the writer about the yaoi in the show the writer was shocked. She said very clearly "there is no yaoi in my series!" And she made sure to say it again as she was leaving the discussion.

So that leaves no room for argument. There is no yaoi in Get Backers. End of story. The guys are friends not lovers.
