Eureka Seven might be my new favorite...

Wow. I'm starting to really love Eureka Seven. The only thing I don't like about it is the combat ( good thing that there isn't a whole lot of it that I've seen ). This show seems to have the best characters that I've ever seen in an anime. I didn't find the show slow at all in the beginning like I've heard ( probably because I watch it on DVD ). This show feels so well thought out and planned. And like I've said before, this is the only anime that I've seen that puts character development before anything else ( of course, that's just my limited point of view ).

I never like mecha anime, no matter how dramatic or philosophical it is. But this one's different. The sky with all of those yellow "trapars" is rather beautiful. I love the sky, and this series has a lot of it.

Why does Eureka Seven seem so underrated, especially for something that shows on TV? I mean, I think this series makes itself look like an action series and that turns people off. But it isn't.

I'd say that it's a pretty overrated series already, rather than underrated. Seems like already on this mb alone there's been TONS of talk on it and people liking what they see.

I was thinkign of starting to watch it on YTV, but I have to much on the go to start on yet ANOTHER anime series, and I'm so chronlogical when it comes to watchign stuff and I hate missing eps of a show once I start it. Just a thing of mine^^

Maybe one day I'll give it a rent... I'm not really a fan of the mecha subgenre either, but I LOVED RahXephon so the mecha part isn't somethign I'm worried about with this one^^

I watched part of the second episode on Adult Swim (I do'nt know why I keep missing the premeres of anime there...). I liked the animation, but....I don't know. The characters didn't quite catch my interest, and, well...I don't know, I rarely get into mecha for whatever reason, even if it's supposedly 'different'...

I might try it again, maybe...

It's not bad though Renton does tend to be a lot bratty at times.

I like Eureka Seven. Although, I have to admit, the characters didn't quite catch me at first. But after a few episodes, I got attached to them.

The animation is awesome, and the storyline does seem to be very well planned. The battles weren't all that great, but what happened outside of combat is what really caught my eye.

Overall, in my opinion, it's a great anime.

This seems to be the sentiment I've seen from a lot of people. It seems to be the kind of show you can't judge based on just one episode (especially since it seems to have quite a few fillerish, less significant ones).
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

I love this show.

#1 Anime right now.

Too bad the golden age of youtube has passed, you used to be able to watch every episode shown on TV on there. Then they started the 10 minute rule and you had to watch three vids for one ep. And now they are all gone.

That's right. All the "filler" episodes aren't really filler at all, because it focuses everything on the characters. To really get into this show, you need to see every episode in order. I'm only up to episode 15 ( I don't watch it on TV ), and it gets better every episode. Especially Acperience 1. It really shows how the Eureka Seven world is like a dream (sky fish, drapars, scubs, Anemone butterflies...).

Yeah, this is my new favorite anime.
