Anyone seen/heard of Ulysses 31?

It's a French/Japanese collaboration anime that I saw when I was about 6-7 years old. I bought it about 5 months ago out of curiousity and oh boy does it rule so much.

It's basically the greek myth of the odyssey based in the future where Ulysses is trying to find his home planet - Earth - after the Gods sent him to an unknown part of space filled with alien worlds and monsters. It's really clever as it manages to fit a great variety of greek myths in (such as the minotaur, the sphinx etc), as well as the ones that are actually in the story The Odyssey. Plus it was made in 1981! How impressives that?! Anyone else like it/ interested?
