Hunter x Hunter

I've read a bit at this forum before, but have seen very little about my favourite anime/manga; Hunter x hunter. Anyone here read or seen this? I've read several other manga's like for example Naruto (which seems to be very popular here), but in my opinion none of them can compare to Hunter x hunter.
I don't recommend this for children under 12 years old however. It's very much violence (quite a lot of blood and gore), but there are no nudity or sexual content.
If you're interested, you should check it out. It's not easy to get neither the anime nor manga today, but this website, I believe, have all the chapters:

Yeah, I know. It's in Italian, but you can find the chapters at the left side where it says "manga scan" and they are in english.
You really should check 'em out. The anime is much more difficult to get. I suppose you can find a torrent download, but I don't know where from (got them from a friend of mine).

In your first post, I see that I like your taste in anime Killua is my favorite character in Hunter X Hunter. I really, really, REALLY like this anime. It started off slow, but go so much better. If you want an anime torrent, it's not licensed, so you can find it at animesuki.com and just do a series search or browse by title. So....would Killua be your favorite character?

There are so many amazing characters and cool personalities in Hunter x Hunter that it's not easy to pick a favourite character, but if it is one it have to be Killua Have you read the manga too, or just seen the anime?

I hear you on the hard to pick characters thing. You're right. Hisoka would have to be my favorite villian because he's SO good at being bad.

I've only seen the anime. I want to read the manga, but I'm weird about reading things online. I like the way a book feels in my hands, and my fingers love the way the pages feel, so I generally try to wait until I can buy it unless I have to wait a looooong time. Is the manga very different from the anime?

The manga and anime are mostly the same. The anime has included a few unnecessary things. Like you mentioned in you first post; the anime starts slow, but the manga doesn't. You get to the action much sooner and it lasts longer
