Crunchyroll and Funimation Merger

Postby Rose Faerie » Thu Mar 03, 2022 1:37 pm

Well, Funimation is being absorbed into Crunchryoll.

The good thing is everything is in one place, the bad thing is all of the Funimation titles are premium only.

I kinda got my hopes up when I saw that Sk8 the Infinity and the Kaguya-sama dubs were on Crunchyroll, since it meant I could watch them with my sister, only to discover they were premium only. Hopefully things don't stay like that forever, or else I'll have to get premium this summer. :pikka:

It is more convenient, though.

What are your thoughts?

If I like a series, I find it on physical disc, pure and simple. Not a fan of not owning the stuff you pay for.

I could still be champ, but I'd feel bad taking it away from one of the younger guys. - George Foreman
