I own the entire series, and it's one of my favorites. However I'm going to up the 12+ to 15+ because of a little bit of fanservice in one particular episode, some discussion of sexual content, and a lot of prime-time TV swearing (mostly by Akito). I'd recommend watching it with your parents and seeing if they think it's appropriate for you. They might enjoy it too, because it's pretty funny at times.

I have only seen the first 4 episodes, and I should see the rest. However, I'm in no hurry to because I got bored very quickly with what I've seen so far. But I do hear that it gets better.

To each their his own. That applies even if you're not a he (boy, do I hate when people associate masculine or feminine terms with sexism... I'll call a group of friends "guys" even if they were all female. "Hey, guys." I'm surprised no one has banned Spanish from schools for being a sexist language.)

I own Nadesico also...I agree with Da Rabid Duck on this. There is parts when Akito gets mad and screams the D word over and over. A bit of sexual innuindo...(I don't think I spelled that right.) It is very funny though. I'd say with normal ratings it'd be PG-13.

I also own Nadesico (and I've written an official CAA review for it) and it's one of my favorites. The inside anime jokes were great, and the characters were very unique. In the review, I made mention of what Da Rabid Duckie and That Dude said. Nice call, guys!

Oh, here's the review if you're interested, ZiP. http://www.christiananime.net/forums/reviews.php?display=23

(Phew, thanks for pointing this one out, Shoo - I almost missed it ;))
