after logging in, stay on the same page

(-please?)

I believe that it would be a GREAT idea to
have users return to the page they were viewing after logging in
rather than being redirected to the front page
(could someone make an option for this?
-possibly within the user control panel
something like this: "upon logging in, do you wish to see the front page- yes or no?")

this would make usage of the forum faster
and more convienient
(that way a few seconds will be saved when trying to get back to the thread they were reading)

if there already is a function similar to what I have described above
then feel free to delete this thread.

Thanks in advance!

sincerely,
Daiko~
(-something doesn't seem gramatically correct in this post of mine,
blegh. -.-;; ...)

I'm sorry for double-posting but...

I don't seem to be getting any response
(I know that people have seen this thread
but it doesn't seem that anyone is trying out what I suggested
-maybe I'm wrong? I want to be... wrong about what I said above...)

I REALLY would like that to be a standard feature for our forums
-it's hard being able to find the thread that one was reading before logging in, and it's hard to get back to it

if the forum automatically takes you to the front page- even when you don't want to be there.

-sigh-

(I'd say more, but I need sleep.)
(I'll remove this post if I need to later.)

BASED ON MY SMALL AMOUNT OF FORUM EXPERIENCE

it's PROBABLY not something CAA can fix, or at least not easily. If they're running bulletinboard software, like phpBB, stuff like that, they get the stuff pre-coded.

But I'm probably wrong ;D

agh freakin double post again....
itchy trigger finger
