It is now possible to make anonymous prayer requests in the Prayer Room. To do this, you must first log out. The post will appear after it has been cleared by one of the team.

Blah. The admins would still know who it was making the request, and could use it as material in banning proceedings or slanders.
I'm sorry, but this is a *bad idea.*

We won't be banning or checking anyone with regards to prayer requests. I should point out though, that the IPs are still logged. We won't be checking any, but if you still don't trust us there is a way that you can be anonymous - use one of the proxy servers on this page and browse the caa anonymously:

That way, we won't be able to check your IP.

Besides, we wouldn't ever ban anyone who was earnestly seeking prayer requests...

I'm guessing the verification process is just to keep Troll Trash from filling up the prayer request list.

Somethin' like that, yeah. But you honest lads and lasses (sorry, watching Pirates) have nothing to worry about. Like Noz said, we won't be checking IPs or anything under normal circumstances...no reason to.

I think this is a great idea; if I'm not mistaken, it's already possible to do it at Anime Angels. ^_^

Just so I understand correctly: That means that one has to make the post while already logged out, right? (I'm sorry, but the way you worded that sounds like it could mean one of two different things; the second being that one posts first and then log out--which doesn't make sense because then it wouldn't be anonymous.)

Yeah. That wouldn't make since. You can tell if you are logged in when you post because there will be a "Welcome xxxxxxx" where xxxxxxx is your username. If you scroll to the bottom of the main screen, there is a logout link you can click on. Click that first, then (when you are not logged in) post in the thread.
