I LOVE this book! The Tillerman series of books by Cynthia Voigt are some of my favorite in the world, but this one is by far my favorite! Anyone wanna talk about it?

This might be confusing as wasn't the classic '70s tv series The Waltons also based on a book or story entitled The Homecoming?
I rather hate it when authors use similiar titles.

Actually, I'm talking about the book where four kids are left in a parked car by their mother, and they have to walk for miles and miles by themselves to get to a relatives house.

The kids names are Dicey, Maybeth, Sammy, and James. I think they made a tv-movie out of it, but the book is by far the better!
