Ok, so here's the problem:

Kinda hard being liek the only creationist in this sort of class^^ And well I have a paper that I'm supposed to do on well, anything anthropology related, but more relating to physical anthropology (bones/fossils, artifacts, etc.) So having such an open field on doing ANYTHING related to physical anthropology. BUT I really don't feel like doing anything on "early man" or things that have been dated tends of thousands of years ago :/ So I'm not really sure what to pick... I do have a National Geographic on a preserved skeleton on a montain, but then again how would I make a thesis on that? Would I just read up on it and devise some thesis and read through to see if I can conclude it (still seems like a hard enough thing to do :/ I disslike this "pick your own thesis" thing :/) So if anyone has any other interesting, easy to find cultures that might be related to this, and ideas on some sort of thesis statement to make, yeah that would help alot^^

I still have a month to work on this, but would be nice to post it now so I can get ideas on things for when I do start it.

how about doing something with forensics, like the aspects of physical anthropology they use to identify human remains and stuff?

Hm I could... although I'm better when workign with something cultural about the findings, so thinking more like... some cultural and evidence that they did... whatever (weather involving food they ate, how they hunted) something culturalish found in bone remains :/ I'll still look into that preserved one though.

then i think your idea of the guy that they found frozen in ice is good, you could talk about the type of culture he lived in and if he had tools on him and whatnot

You could always do research on artifacts from the Roman Empire. There is alot of research into Rome, and many archeological artifacts have been found from that time period, so you could talk about the influence of our archeological findings on our understanding of Roman culture. From what you've said, Tenshi, that sounds right up your alley.

Hm, well looks like the two above comments sounds good. If I manage to dig up the mag I could do that frozen guy, or something on the Roman Empire... Ah! In ant class we DID watch a movie on the Peltdown hoax and mentioned one guy intentionally made Roman artifacts as hoaxes... maybe somewhere along the lines of those hoaxes vs. true Roman artifacts or somethin^^

Either way, thanks for the help^^
