Does any one know how to write music onto a CD in MP3 format, instead of the standard audio? I have a CD player that plays MP3 discs, and I hear they can hold way more stuff..

I think you just have to copy them to the disc as data files. I've done that before to a CD-RW, and our DVD player picked them up fine. It can't hurt to try, anyway...

Yeah. I once stuck a data cd in a cd player that could play mp3s, and it ignored all the non music files and played the mp3s just fine.

Just burn it as a regular data disc with mp3s on it.

It really depends on the player, but the above information is essentially correct. If your player understands "virtual discs" you can place the MP3s in folders and scroll through them a folder at a time. I did that for the wolf's car MP3 player. She has all the songs she likes from each CD on a folder titled "band - cd." She just "CD - Skips" to the one she wants, and plays. Way cool!
