Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated

So has anyone else started watching this new Scooby show?
I know what your thinking "Oh great! Not another one!" Trust me, this one is worth watching. I thought the same thing but then I read the wiki article and it really interested me. Basically, in order to breath new life into the Scooby franchise, they decided to reboot the series. It is the early days of Mystery Incorporated. The gang are in their teens and live in a small town called Crystal Cove. They consistently solve mysteries that happen around town, much to the chagrin of the adults who want to turn the town into a tourist trap by advertising "real" ghosts/monsters. Well the coolest thing about the show is that it actually has an overall plot. There is a mysterious (no pun intended) guy who calls himself Mr. E
He gives the gang clues to finding/solving mysteries around town and he gives them clues to an overall grand mystery that will play out through the season/series.
The series makes some changes here and there but keeps the original humor and site gags. So its new but it doesn't feel like it has lost the charm of the original. It is what Scooby-Doo has been lacking the modern times.
Probably the biggest change and shocker to me and probably many other is the fact that
Shaggy and Velma are dating
Anyway, its a great show and I highly recommend you find all the episodes and watch them. It is up to episode 4 now.

.... Okay, I'm a huge fan of Scooby-doo and most of the new series haven't cut it. I'm willing to try this one to see if it's any good!

I know exactly what you mean. Completely. I grew up watching re-runs of Scooby and have been very disappointed in recent years. This show is awesome, though. Great casting as well. Frank Welker returns to play Fred and he plays Scooby. Grey DeLisle as Daphne. Mindy Cohn as Velma. Probably the best (other than Frank Welker of course) choice is Matthew Lillard as Shaggy. In case you don't recognize the name, Matthew Lillard played Shaggy on the live-action films and in my opinion captured the character perfectly.

YES! YESYESYES! That's the most awesome news EVER about Shaggy! I'm also thrilled about the rest of the cast, too!

I just read the spoiler...
Whaaaaat? That's so adorable, I could vomit rainbows and syrup!
I haven't really ever caught on to the whole Scoopy Doo craze. I mean yah, when I was 6 I watched the old shows, but I kinda grew out of it... because it got sooo repetitive.

This looks really interesting though, will it be on CN, and hopefully online? (Because I don't have cable at the moment. :<)

I watched some ... it's defiantly better than some of the older ones ... I'll watch it again next week.

Fu was amused by the part she saw.

You could just ask me, you know. XD

Saw the end of 'melody tonight'. It would have been better if MOI hadn't totally spoiled it. Although I might have asked him to, I don't remember... XD

I'm really enjoying what I've seen from this new series. And I love the new art style they're using. It's like the best of the old style but with a fresh spin. Relatively simple but still fun to look at.

@Ren (sorry I kept never getting around to answering): I don't really dislike it, but I'm not generally a big fan of it, either. I kinda like the new series though.

Saw In Fear of the Phantom last night. Fred cracked me up:
"Daphne, I'm not a guy anymore! I have feelings!!"
XD

That was a great episode.
I love how it continued the minor plot point of Scooby being mad. That is so rare nowadays that I love it. The dummy was a nice touch. Perhaps referencing the fact that Shaggy knows ventriloquism.
yeah, I'd prefer them going all the way back (graphics, voices and all) but this is pretty good for new TV.

Yeah. I wish they'd do more stuff like that in TV shows.
