Scott Pilgrim Vs The World finally launched it's teaser trailer!

Movie Synopsis wrote:Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for totally average garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams -- literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker's quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Scott Pilgrim has never had a problem getting a girlfriend. It's getting rid of them that proves difficult. From the girl who kicked his heart's *** and now is back in town, to the teenage distraction he's trying to shake when Ramona rollerblades into his world, love hasn't been easy. He soon discovers, however, his new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes control her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor.

As Scott gets closer to Ramona, he must face an increasingly vicious rogues' gallery from her past -- from infamous skateboarders to vegan rock stars and fearsome identical twins. And if he hopes to win his true love, he must vanquish them all before it really is game over.

Director: Edgar Wright

Oh my goodness, I am so excited. Here is the teaser trailer.

Oh my gosh, this looks hilarious. XD This only further goes to show that I need to read the comic, but I'm very amused by the way they seem to have incorporated typical comic book sound effects into the movie. XD Also I didn't know Anna Kendrick was going to be in this! That's pretty cool!

They finally released the trailer? I'm... Tentatively excited. I love the IP, but I am unconvinced that a kid who's based his entire career on being sheepish and akward can really pull off Scott.

A Scott Pilgrim movie? awesome! I do sort of wish it was animated though, I really thought the art from the books was fun.

S'what I've been saying.

Also, watching the trailer hasn't made me any more convinced he can do it.

I was looking for this to show to a friend. Forgot a thread had been made about it, and that's probably where I heard about it to begin with.

Movie looks awesome, but it took a number of trailer views before the whip using ex registered... Never read the comics. Don't know if they'll have it here in Korea. May not be mainstream enough.

Okay guys, I got interested in this movie because I learned that Anamanaguchi was doing music for the video game, so I decided to check the trailer out. While people have mentioned that the writer was Canadian, somehow everyone failed to mention the entire thing takes place in Toronto. I was baffled when I saw the TTC bus in the trailer and I went on Wikipedia to find that little tidbit out and even stumbled upon a page that took place in the TRL.

You guys, I am disappoint.

This movie looks awesome! I had seen the Scott Pilgrim comics in Borders a few times, but I nerver really looked at them because the art style didn't appeal to me, and they looked like a quirky sitcom style slice of life series. But I can;t wait to see this movie.

I really want to read the comic now, but I think I'll wait till I see the movie. Otherwise, I'll probably just end up dissapointed with it.

The more I see of this movie, the more I am convinced it will be the most fun I've had watching a movie since I-don't-know-when. XD

JUST SAW IT. JUST LOVED IT.

Fair warning, the script was written when the series was half finished, taking suggestions from the author as to how to resolve it and go about certain instances, so the movie follows the books pretty good up to volume three then drops into another world completely. Michael Cera is still an awful choice for scott, but everyone else around him is so good it doesn't really matter.

Friend of mine had eight pre-screening tickets. We only used four of them and left four on the counter at the box-office for someone else.

I just got back from the theatre.

Wow.

I don't remember the last time I had this much fun at a movie. The fact that it diverged from the comics didn't really bother me; the ending was more or less the same anyway. My only complaint would be that some of the dialogue that worked well in the comics sounded a bit awkward when spoken by real people in the movie.

Best. Movie. Of. The. Year.

Seriously. I loved it so much. XD
