I like the idea of a 4th one just to make up for the bad 3rd one.
If the 4th one is as bad as the 3rd they should just stop.

3rd wasn't as bad as most people say... It was just a drop from the really good 2, and then Dark Knight hit, and there's a new bar set for Hero movies.

I think a lot of people did not like how they wasted Venom. That is what really upset me. It also ended at a funeral, which was not really as fun a seeing Spidey swing away, like in the other movies.

I agree. Spider-man 3 was a mess. But if Superman and Batman can go 5 movies, why not our friendly neighborhood Spider-man?

Well, both superman and batman were reset.

Superman reset to the third movie, ignoring the original third movie.
Batmat reset... the entire series

I don't see a spiderman reset coming for a long time.
