What if one of the Star Trek series had a vampire crew member?
They are like say a vampire in Twilight and honor their enlistment in Star Fleet.

Twilol in Space?

Why do I get the feeling that someone, somewhere on the internet has written this crossover fanfic?

Besides. Sexual fantasies on Star Trek only function one way. In the perfect utopian society of the Federation of Planets, only women are allowed to be treated as objects. Sheesh.

Terrible, since the Twilight vamps in particular are supposed to be supermen in all concepts possible and would break any semblance of vulnerability for the crew.

"Oh no it's dangerous! I know! Lets send in the living rock/corpse that doesn't have to breathe eat or sleep and is immune to everything but another one of its own kind."

Don't be silly, Star Trek already has vampires. Salt vampires.

And they die if they fall in love with Kirk.

Hmmm... you're right. I don't think they ever sent an away team of comprised of Wesley Crusher, Worf and Data. That trio would probably end up conquering any world they beamed down to, without even meaning to.

Hm, has no one posted a facepalm because that would be too easy? I guess it has been overdone. No one has gone with a "That was what they were planning for the next season of Enterprise" either.

Well, at least this particular permutation hasn't been used on CAA before. One for vampires, one for Twilight:

I thought maybe there could be one on the security team for the ship.
Maybe they get sent on a away mission. "Ah Ensign Dracula, Please stop beating the life form with the bolder."
Time for the red shirts to win.

That sounds like the most meaningless most brutalest most blackest idea ever.

I love it.

I just found something interesting. The CBS show Moonlight almost had the title Twilight.
If anyone remembers Moonlight you have a man named Mick St John who is a vampire and a private detective. He is made a vampire by his bride on their wedding night back in the 50s and has been vampire 50 years.
There are other vampires who try to live private lives or work to protect each other by covering up another's crimes. Sort of like Men In Black.
Just think what if Mick St John as a Star Fleet officer.

There are so many terrible vampire stories. It makes me sad, because I love a good vampire story. *sigh*

Eck, I'm going to see Twilight because my girlfriend wants to see it; she loves the book. The first one. I've never read it, but I'm a huge Star Trek fan. Also, I hate it when stories mess up the lore behind things, and from what I've seen, Twilight knows nothing about Vampries.
But a Vamp in Star Trek? Haha...somehow, I feel that Spock would find a logical way to beat it out, or if it were an ensign, it would die. They always die first.

Vampires don't twinkle.

The only things that should twinkle in Star Trek are stars. :d

Very similar to my first thought, only kinder.
All that would do would provide the writers with another convenient legged deus ex machina and walking plot device and likely be the impetus for all sorts of unwarranted speculation by dubious fans.

Also, I have always been of the humble opinion that no man I am in attracted to ought to be described as 'twinkles'. Might just be me.

Point taken. I don't want any man I am attracted to to be described as 'sparkly', either. XD

I must like my men matte. :3
