I don't know about the rest of you, I however am very excited about this film. I grew up watching the cartoon show when it used to air on USA's former Cartoon Express, played with the action figures and the video games, well three of them, GI Joe the Atlantis Factor for the NES, a handheld game and the GI Joe arcade game.

Fortunately Stephen Sommers is trying to stay true to the GI Joe universe as much as possible and Ray Park is going to be Snake Eyes! ( One of the coolest ninjas in the history of fiction ).
The costumes don't look bad at all either.
Its also good EA is going to develop the new GI Joe video game to tie in with the film, I'm definitely getting it if comes out for the XBox 360, which I'm sure it will, along with the other next gen consoles.

Feel free to express your thoughts about this upcoming film adaptation of one of the most popular franchises in history.

The movie has a lot going for it (Snake-Eyes in a promotional photo especially looks cool), but to be honest I'll struggle to take this movie seriously enough to enjoy it fully. I've always found everything G.I. Joe inherently silly (don't ask why) and the director will have to go to extreme lengths for me to suspend my otherwise flighty sense of disbelief.

I think it will probably be pretty good.

As long as it's based on the Original version and not Sigma 6,I'll go see it.

There's always been a bit of silly in G.I.Joe - even in the comic books. I for one hope the film doesn't take itself too seriously (although I also hope it's a whole lot better than Street Fighter :P)
