Yes, it's true, I've become a Vic Fan Girl :O First, it was just listening to "Brothers" on repeat for "how many times in a row". Now it's videos that friends has linked me to ^ ^
Like this one- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOrpFLetvrU
Then this one. The Russian version of "Brothers"-
http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/fmalchemist/bratya.htm
I know, it's not Vic, but it links back to him
Then there was that link to his WoW Commercial. I even had a dream about him.. kinda ^ ^; I was printing out lyrics to the song "Brother" and some lady noticed it and asked me if I knew Vic. I could've said yes, but I was like,"No, but I know of him ^ ^." Then we started talking about him and stuff and she tells me she'll tell him I said hi ^ ^
Ooh, and here's Vic being glomped at AX-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6gngbvC14U&feature=related
Hmmm, I've never really had a fangirl stage o.O Lets see how long this last ^ ^
PS. Feel free to move this thread if it's not in its right place ^ ^

I love his job as Edward Elric, but I think I like Dark Mousy more. *is Dark Mousy fangirl* And his singing voice is so amazing. <3

I think I brought it up somewhere on the forum that I would LOVE to see Edward and Dark have a fight if nothing but just to hear Dark's comments on Ed's height, and Ed getting angry about it. Good times I once thought I saw Vic Mignona him in an Exxon a few months ago, but I didn't want to say anything for fear of complete failure. As it turns out though, it wasn't him. One key sign--he was buying a lottery ticket. (though, if commentary tracks are to be believed, it could be possible) He's a pretty cool cat. Anybody who can play all these different roles, some more pervse than others, and then turn around and preach the word of God is okay in my book.

I've had the opportunity to talk to him a lot.. haha the last two conventions I was at he was there too. It was pretty cool He even put on a concert at my last one.
For me, it's not the roles he has played that makes me like him so much. It's his faith. Honestly and truly. There are guys who have performed really amazing roles too... but I don't like any of those actors as much as I like those who actually talk openly about their faith.
Vic also puts on Sunday Sermons at the conventions he goes to...and hearing God's word being preached at those events....is truly an insipration... There are definately a lot of kids and teens hurting in our world...and the fact that one of their favorite voice actors is telling them "God LOVES you...God cares for you. ANd there is a better life!" it's truly amazing...
And the fact that Vic actually decided to record John in the Bible that I have heard is like the best book for sharing with non Christians about Christ...that's even cooler. Risembool Rangers has the zip files where we can download those tracks..and I listened to the first eleven chapters...it's really nifty...and I'm really thinking about sharing it with my Pastor. ^_^
Even though I hate myself for admitting this...every time I see him, I can't hold back my excitement. ^^; I've never been one to fangirl over any actor seriously.... but I get REALLY excited whenever I talked to Vic...I ended up stammering like an idiot...
but when I see such an amazing guy, such an amazing Christian... it's kinda hard not to get excited ^^;
I also had to opportunity to draw something for him too 8D! At the convention in Wichita he said something that really stuck with me.
"Humans understand God like an Ant understands a 747." XD I just thought that was neat...and I drew him an ant looking at a plane flying overhead and he was all "I don't get it!!" Doe Johnson dragged Vic to my table so I could give it to him and he gave me a hug and was like "OH MY GOSH!!" HAHA It was awesome!
I then asked him if I could like use it and then make stickers and stuff...it was neat

That is one of the main facts I find him so awesome as well. I heard about him and was like "Aww, he's cute and so is his voice! ^^" and then I listened to a comment about yaoi and I really thought that was great so I began to look into him some more. I found out about his faith and his ministry and was totally blown away. And it all just keeps getting better and better. I didn't know about his Sunday Sermons at the conventions, that is so cool! I hope to be going to a convention to meet the Fuhrer next year.

Nuuu! Hitler doesn't attend conventions! That would be like, a sin. @-@
*glomps Vic* Being a member of the Risembool Rangers, I call him Fuhrer as a joke (as does everyone else). Travis is called Fuhrer in the Miniskirt Army too.
I've been a member of RR for awhile, so "fuhrer" is a habit now. xD But sometimes, I think some of his fangirls are a bit serious about the "fuhrer" thing. Creepy fangirls. . . >_>

Ever since I got into the FMA dub about a year ago (until then, I'd only seen the original Japanese), I've been a fan of Vic. He seems to be quite cheerful and pleasant, and now that I've heard he preaches at anime cons, he just got 50% cooler
Once on a forum, there was a thread asking whether you're in the Resembool Rangers or the Miniskirt Army, and I made a joke, saying, "Neither! I'm in the Kitty Coalition, where we accept everybody!" 'Cause as cool as Vic Mignogna or Travis Willingham may be, Aaron Dismuke is twice as cute as either of them <3 He's the
perfect actor to play Al, I think.
But yes, Vic is awesome. And his singing voice is wonderful, too. I cried when I heard his rendition of "Brothers"

O_O; I actually feel sorry for Vic...
i was at this anime con in OK city in November...and I noticed that he was just carrying on a conversation with some of his friends when all of a sudden some girls from Risembool Rangers were like
"VIIIIICCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And the literally GLOMP HIM...they like made him stumble and stuff...
Poor Vic he's too popular for his own good...

Can't I fangirl just a little?! D= But seriously, I'm not that weird. I admire him more than I fangirl.
Lol, notice how "fangirl" has become a verb.
You should hear some of the horror stories from different VAs. It's really sad, I don't think I could handle it myself. Vic has had all kinds of things said to him, and the random hugs would bug the crap out of me. The same with Aaron Dismuke, he had one girl ask him if she could rape him. I think he was 12 at the time. Talk about inappropriate and immature. But Vic-sama is a patient man, God's blessed him with that I know.

I was watching some of the youtube vids of him and found out he was a cop before he became a VA! cool!
Oh, also. I went onto the risembool rangers site (I'm a member now, yea!) and downloaded the gospel of john, but can't get it to play. Can anyone else play it?

Eh, is this true? Not a Vic fan, but he comes to A-Kon a lot and <s>I'm trying to convince my friend to come on Sunday too</a>. It's not advertised, I imagine; how do you find out when/where he does them?

Mmm I must say I never even heard of the man (I haven't seen FMA yet) before Mith's thread about Vic's Gospel of John ministry, but I checked out the World of Warcraft ad on YouTube (there was a link elsewhere in the forums, I think in the gaming section) and found this video by Vic:

I'm a Star Wars fan so I really enjoyed this one. It's very clever. "Vader, know did you?"

Not all cons have welcome his Sunday Sermons. When he does a Sunday Sermons, they sometimes don't put it in the program book and some do.
Really, you have to ask con staff if there will be one, if you don't see it in the program book.

I'm pretty much new to Vic as well
All of this kinda sparked from me hearing his version of "Brothers" ^ ^ He's got a very soothing voice
I've heard his name thrown here and there before Mith spoke of his project, but I still don't know much about him o.o;
Awww, poor guy ^ ^ I'm not 100% sure if I would or not be one of those girls who tackle him upon seeing him. Knowing me, I'd prolly be in the back round standing blushing ^ ^;

The only two cons I have been at where he has been have both had them. I think it's probably because I sorta live in the Bible Belt area though..^^; so that could be a reason why he has them...
But since Akon is in Texas... I would imagine that if he goes to that one he should have it...I believe Vic started doing the sermons last year... so it's a realtively new thing...

Yup ^_^ I have listened to the first 11 chapters.. It's a zip file so you need to extract them. You can do that by right clicking on the icon and saying "Extract All" your computer should be able to take it from there.
I also use Itunes and I just imported the files onto there. It's awesome I really like the personality he puts into the chapters.

I extracted them and I got the same message. "File contains an extension that doesn't match the format" or something like that. I've tried Windows media and Real one player. I've only had time to download them at work on their computer and they don't have itunes *sigh*

He has been doing it longer then a year. He has done the Sunday Sermons for the past two years at AWA and a few other cons.

That could be it. I do know that AWA was one of few that started to let him do the Sunday Sermons first.
So maybe a year as doing then at most cons.
I just know that a few will not let him do the Sunday Sermon and one of them is or was in the south.
