Batman villain in the next movie?

Also, who's to say that Nolan's going to be directing the next one? I heard he's not planning on directing any more Batman movies, but I'm not sure if this has been confirmed.

Although, Clayface would look WICKED given the advances in CGI.

Mr. Freeze does not have super powers, per se. His freeze powers are technology-driven. Anyone wearing that suit would have those abilities. He is a mutant, though, which may be a sticking point.

Johnny Depp as The Riddler would be awesome! My friends and I were trying to decide who could play a Joker on par with Ledger and about the only person who came to mind as a possible contender was Depp. Personally, I think Depp as the Riddler would be amazing.

I think that it is possible to have two villains in a movie and still have it be workable, but never three villains. That's just too many.

I heard the same thing today on the radio station I listen to during movie reviews.
I even heard Angelina Jolie as Cat Woman.

Yep, article claimed that one too. Looks like I'm two for two, but the Penguin in addition would be fun and interesting. I'm glad no one shared the screen with Joker villain wise because he kind of steals the show, but the rest could definitely use help.

Penguin I have heard and just checked could be played by Phillip Seymore Hoffman.
Another possiblity is that Depp could play Batman if Bale does not return to play the role.

My gosh I hope not. Johnny Depp is a fine actor, but I think it would absolutely ruin things to have him play Batman. He just doesn't fit the role to me at all.

No, you want one central villain that is a strong foil to the hero. I feel that DK would have been better if the full development of Dent had been saved for the next film, and it may have actually contributed to the way the movie derailed at the end.

I disagree, actually. Sam Raimi certainly did an awful job handling three villains in one movie, but I thought TDK carried two villains seamlessly. Considering the fact that Dent was only a villain for part of the movie, not to mention the fact that Batman and the Joker were the central point of tension while Dent and Gordon took the side ring, I really think it was handled beautifully. To each his own and everything, but I really loved the way they handled Two Face's character and development, and I never felt like any character overshadowed the others.

I take this idea from Chris Gore.

The only way I can see a third being done is... Make an adaptation of "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns".

Course some of the ebst parts of that story couldn't happen...
