I agree, except for the "usefulness" part. But maybe it's because he only uses blasters and blasters are so hopelessly underpowered in both games...GhostontheNet (post: 1214640) wrote:If the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games count, I would have to say HK-47. Only HK-47 could take a thinly masked desire for cruelty and mass murder and make it sound so cordial and polite. Whether one plays affiliated with the Light or Dark side, HK-47's wonton bloodlust makes things more lively with its dark and strange comic relief. Not content to merely be useful for gags, HK-47's dual roles as protocol and assassin droid makes him a very very useful robot where C-3PO proved mostly useless. He was certainly more useful than a lot of the other "meatbags" in my party.
Actually, blasters, especially double blasters, are incredibly powerful to those that know how to use them effectively. Equip HK-47 with one of the big burly special blasters and HK-47 rips up. This is doubly so when he is equipped with those robot flamethrower upgrades (which give a painful close-range attack against multiple targets that stuns the enemy for a couple of seconds) and other handy additions like regeneration. I usually found the optimum party configuration to be two jedi and one long range character to provide fire support for behind.Ingemar (post: 1214695) wrote:I agree, except for the "usefulness" part.
