I saw the movie, and thought it was really good. All war movies seem to be sad, though, and this one is included.
"I've learned when you throw mud at others, not only do you get your hands dirty, but you also lose a lot of ground." Ravi Zacharias
"Pride grows in the human heart like lard on a pig." Aleksander Solzhenitzen (so call me on it)
"Zeal without knowledge can lead to chaos." - Bob Rohm
"Why don't we love his truth as much as we seem to love his love?"- Cross Movement, in their song "Check us Out"

Um, I think my parents saw it. XD I remember because they usually watch Korean history dramas, or B grade romance ones.

XD It's definately not a B-grade movie. It was the second highest grossing film in korea.

Taegukgi is one of my favorite movies of all time. It has incredible cinematography, a deeply moving story, and some of the most visceral war scenes that I have ever witnessed on film. Definitely a movie I would recommend without reservation to anyone who is old enough to see it and can stomach the bloodshed. The pathos and drama are intense.

It also features my favorite Korean actor - Jang Dong-gun. His performance here was spectacular. If you like his acting, also try Nowhere to Hide and Friend.

No no, I meant they usually watch B-grade dramas, not that Taeguki was. They usually don't watch war movies.
