I have that problem. Try using the PaintBBS instead of Oekaki mode. It doesn't seem to generate that error, at least for me.

Have you tried downloading the newest Java console? Maybe there's a little problem with your java install. As far as the error is concerned, I've fiddled with the oekaki mode a lot and it never goes away. I asked Noz about it but at the time he did not know why it does that.

Suggestion: I found this on the board for OekakiPoteto; try this and see if it in fact works for you. I'm going to try it on my own and see what happens here, too.

EDIT: I have confirmed that the following is the case; at least for my computer. Those of you having trouble need to deactivate the Java console and use the Microsoft VM... *grumbles*

OekakiBBS cannot submit pictures: image transfer error

The OekakiBBS applet is a hacked version made for use with OP. However, there seems to be a problem with people submitting images if they have the sun java 2 plugin.

Using the microsoft VM is recommended, and if you use internet explorer, you can easily tell IE to not use java 2:

Tools> internet options > advanced > Java (Sun) > uncheck use java 2 for <applet> or simliar line

now go to microsoft VM, and click JIT compiler enable and hit ok

Oh! Very sorry! I just realised that my previous post could have been taken very harshly. I was trying to imply that there may be a problem with the default windows install, not with your ability to do what she said. Again, sorry about that. I'll try to be more carefull in the future!

Well, I can probably help troubleshoot the windows problems, but I've never used the oekaki system. I'm just a geek, I don't have the hand of an artist. (Though I did ask for one once, and got it too!) Sorry Groucho Marx moment there. heh heh. Just stallin a bit. Yessir. Stallin....

*looks around*

Where are the oekaki users?!? C'MON people!

A pic (and descriptive paragraph) is worth a thousand words...;) My tablet model is the Graphire 2, which apparently is outdated...O.o
