DVC80 problems...

alright, here's my problem... I have a DVC80, a device used to put video from many devices (video game consoles, cameras, VCR outputs, etc) into a computer. It is usb2-driven. The problem is this: it doesn't want to work on this computer. I don't understand why, since it worked on two or three computers that were virtually identical to this one in the past, except this one has boosted specs. I've unistalled and reinstalled the drivers a few times now, still nothing. Anyone have any recomendations?

I don't think so. I use the same port to add/remove songs in my mp3 player
