Real Player

I'm trying to either figure out how to get my real player to play the subtitle file that I have downloaded (to watch a movie...it's softsubbed so I have to have a separate subtitle file), or to convert the real media file to some other file (windows media preferably since I know how to get that to play the subtitle files).

Anyone know how to do either of those things?
