I wanted an excuse to post what my desktop looks like.







What's really great is that my system sounds are now set up like this as well. Some girl says よし！はりきって、始めちゃうよ！ or something to that affect when I log in and これでいいのかな when I try to delete something. For the record that fox image on the launcher is Firefox Spirit-chan... or something...


Any ideas helping to make my desktop even more moe?

Oh my gosh imgur made those huge

Not sure how to easily make them the right size so it's no longer cutting off so much on the right

Never mind, apparently just right-click and click "View Image" to see the whole thing...

If you don't have an account with an image hosting site where you can upload the screenshot of your desktop, does that automatically disqualify your nerd status?

Nope, I don't have an account with imgur either. Or rather, I do, but I don't remember my password and it's not associated with my current email address so I can't be bothered. It's good you can upload as a guest.

I'm going to cheat by just linking to the pictures as I found them online, avoiding this issue entirely.

I cannot begin to compete with the ultra cute icons you have going on there, Mullet. Though I also had a One Piece wallpaper for a very long time until recently, so seeing your's makes me happy. (although, I have a lock screen on my laptop and it's this picture: HERE)

Believe me, if I can find some kind of moe x11 mouse cursor theme... I will definitely use it. Otherwise I'll have to make my own. What I have now is a turquoise mouse cursor theme with slightly smoothed edges that's much more nice-looking than the default ugly white thing that most OSes have.









Heeeeeey Goldy! That is a glorious lock screen image. XD I have sadly never had the opportunity to watch Jojo so I cannot comment on that image's level of awesome. I will say that personally I hate desktop shortcuts save for a few launcher (or task bar in the case of Windows) locks but your desktop is still much cleaner than most. I have seen some horribly messy desktops... I've even seen people who had more than one shortcut to Internet Explorer on the desktop, or shortcuts to other shortcuts. Yuck.

Yes, it's mint, but I'm not aware of any vulnerablities in LMDE(This is the LMDE release, which is Linux Mint in Debian).
