I was wondering, brothers and sisters, what Scriptures do you consider the most beautiful; the most edifying, and all around your favorite? Mine are: Pretty much all of 1st Corinthians chapter 13, Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9, Proverbs 19:23, 1 Timothy 1:17, and Ephesians 5:1-2.

Besides the one in my signature, I like Psalm 134 (in which being with God is compared to a weaned child with its mother), the story of the Prodigal Son, and Paul's treatise on love in the Letter to the Corinthians. (I think that's the one)

Philippians 2:5-11 and 4:6-7, Isaiah 40 and 52:13-53:12, Luke 18:9-14. From the Psalms, 18 (from which my signature is taken) is one of several favorites. Besides these, there are undoubtedly others which I'm forgetting at the moment.

Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;
and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Isaiah 40:31

Proverbs is also a good book
