how can a person be a good infulence?

i have this freind she's in into alot of not good things, and 3 months ago she was into going to church, of course that is what her mother is telling me, i haven t bumped into with her for a few years, and i dont know what she is like anymore we where 10 since the last time we hung out, this is besides the point, my mom doesn't want me hanging around her daughter because my mom might think that the girl could get me into serious trouble. so i will take my mothers advice and not help this person, even though something inside of me is saying " go and do it" this girl does some things that isnt good for her body and i dont need to be around it, plus she is a young mother and doesnt see her child half of the time. so how would i be a good infulence on this person?
