So I wanted to start a thread where I can share my latest poems. And, yes, my pen name is Patrick Eklektos the SteamPunk Poet. I wrote a work recently and put it up on my Scribed acct but wanted to share it here. Enjoy. Criticism welcome.

ANTHEM
from the
Gentleman Knight
Collection

The Wandering Gentleman
Ne’er a lady to sin
leading them
instead to Him
a duty to free
and to make happy.

In a nation
where they sex sin
he is still standing
honour demanding
calling them higher
to demand better.

His definition
is his Sovereign
He Christian
This is that he is
defined by Jesus
Gentlemen us.

Thank you Narnian! XD

I have a new idea! ^_^I was writing some stuff and just threw together a ballad. What do you all think?

The Ballad
of
Knight and Ninja

I.
“Face and fight thou fiend
for knowest well
that thou comest from hell.
Yea thither to thy friend
shall I send thee devil”
Quo the knight in white
to the Wraith Night.
The other stood withall
the beating verbal
saying not a word
but narrowed sword
thought only on mission
the which execution
meant his commission.
Though this a duel
was not his usual
yea but honour
had its colour
not white nor black
but pure no lack.
there was a spring
a lunge like lightning
The Knight knew not
but with this thought
threw his defense
and to good affect
for with shield thus
quickly deflect.
His foe though
no overthrow
but regained
to attack again.

“You are worthy,”
said the stealthy,
“of your acclaim.
the more worthy still
to taste my steel.”
Quick a’ wheel
but slow still
for upon his heel
the Knight thrust
a blade blood lust.
But his foe bound
back and around
and was turned
the squire the sire.
Death was certain
for no mere man
would withstand
the speed demand
this to counter.
The Knight spoke now,
“What wouldst thou
with such as I?”
