Archan writes poetry?

Postby Archan » Fri Dec 02, 2005 1:09 am

Been doing some poetic stuff, dunno why. Just had the urge, somewhat soothing, perhaps it has to do with my current state of work, who knows, anyways here are a few poems...hope you enjoy!

Golgotha
These bones free of flesh and pain, yet lay they cursed in hate,
Baptized in innocent blood, across this barren plain,

What peace may we see, while these bones do lay,
What hope can we see, walking the road to Calvary?

These bones free of flesh and pain, forged through the rage of Rome,
Embraces He that walks, this wretched road alone.
But as His blood does flow, these bones are cursed no more,
Bound to the sands of earth, they will walk again once more,

What peace may we see, while these bones to lay,
What life is this we find, flowing from His veins?

These bones free of flesh and pain, will rise with Him again,
The dead will yet reign, all that He will claim.
Death will set them free, come the dawn of the third day,
This ground soaked with His blood, will give up her slain.

What peace may we see, while these bones do lay?
What tears do we shed, for those who rise…but yet were slain?

These bones free of flesh and pain, walk this road once more,
These bones that did lay slain, now walk with Him…back home
1 Peter 5:10 "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you."
