CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hi guys! *waves* I'm working on my manga, Advocate, and I really need some help. I'd really love it if I could have a place to actually put my comic other than on my Deviant Art account... someplace where I can get free hosting, a decent amount of space, and no add banners or pop-ups. I have a couple of ideas and I've been looking for quite a while (and some friends have helped me too *hugs Daiko-chan*) but I still can't find a place. The reason why I haven't gotten anywhere is probably because I'm a little too pickey XD If anyone can point me in any direction I will be extremely greatful!

As far as the comic goes, I'm almost done with chapter 1 and I've got most of it planned out ^-^ I'm really happy with it, and I hope to create something different than the usual but still centered around the gospel. I'm sure if I need anything else or if I actually get something posted I'll write here to let you all know ^^

Yeah, I've looked at both of those sites before. I just... really would rather find a different place. (told you I was picky XD) I had a sub-domain with a girl a long while ago and I liked doing that because I had the ability to talk to her if I had problems with the server. It's hard to do that with just a hosting service. I was praying for a place with a nice webmaster/mistress that would respond to questions if I had any. That's why I haven't found anything much yet ^-^;

Okiday, well it is a lot about the gospel... the story involves a criminal that converts to Christianity through the story and together with his family fights to take down the people threatening thier kingdom. The main thing I want to focus on is that Jesus is our "advocate" who speaks for us to the Father, and how our sinful pasts don't matter to Him. I'm afraid I'm not that great of a manga artist though... I have so much I want to do, but are you sure you'd want to host someone who doesn't have much talent? This is my first manga project, after all...

What do you mean 'someone who doesn't have much talent'? I just had a look over at your DeviantArt gallery, and your art is really quite nice. I think you could have a great time making an online manga with the skills you have right now, and if it is truly the will of the Lord for you to do such a thing, He'll provide for you. Everyone has to start somewhere, really...

You're kind, Azheng. Thank you. I just feel so little being around so many amazing artists... and people that have such strong faiths. I really have a long way to go... but I'm relying on the Lord to help me.

Btw, I have a question for anyone - does the manga text have to be in all caps? I really like the way it looks better if it's just normal... it seems more natural that way, but I've never seen a manga that didn't have everything capitalized. I'm afraid of breaking some hidden manga-rule if I do it differently XD

The first few pages are up on my DA account ^^ It's not that great... as far as tone and layout go I'm just making things up as I go XD Daiko-chan gives me tips and it's like... pages long. *laughs* But I think I'm learning as I go. Comments or constructive critisism is much appriciated.
