CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Courtney Love came out with a manga called "Princess Ai". I flipped through it a little bit, and I liked the art, but I didn't bother to get into it any deeper. I don't really care for Courtney Love

and I thought Princess Ai was rather Mary Sue-ish :eh:

Has anyone else read it? I prefer shonen manga (Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, D. Gray-Man, etc), so can anyone tell me if they think I'd like it?

Never heard of her, but I just saw this one at the library today and was also wondering about it. I looked at Angelic Layer too... but the artwork was ugly! XD

I wonder if Princess Ai opens with Princess Ai killing her love who happens to be more famous than her.......with a shotgun....

...

I read a little bit of it in Takuhai. I don't remember it being terrible.

I'm not big on sitcom-like love manga... such as Marmalade Boy (don't kill me fan girls!!). Is it all just like a present-day shoujo?

Where do I begin? To start, Courtney's a musician... although some wouldn't consider her work "music" :shady:

She was in Hole, before they disbanded. She was married to Kurt Cobain, who was in Nirvana.

Kurt passed away some time in the early 90s... I don't remember exactly when. It was concluded that committed suicide, but there is speculation that Courtney killed him. Kirsten, the bassist of Hole also died, and some people think that Courtney killed her as well. I think Courtney was in a few movies, too. If you want a really detailed biography, just look her up on Wikipedia.
