I plan on pruchasing the manga since it looks incredibly funny.

Question; is it a series or a standalone graphic novel?

I'm almost completely certain it's a series. However, each volume generally stands alone. Actually, sometimes individual pages could stand alone. It also really wouldn't matter if you read the volumes out of order (or watched the episodes in the same way).

Yeah, like most anime shows Bobobobobobo goes about 5 feet in the main plot but instead of spending the whole tiem fighting they do.....well...nothing.

I've read some of the qmanga it's hilarous! But their some unneeded crud buy it.

I think it's still running as a manga at least in Japan. It's completely insane.

I love it. There`s only one volume in Japan without a number.

I know I'm a little late on this thread, but I thought I'd fill in some Bobobo manga info:

Viz has decided to release one of the later volumes of the good Bobobo as a stand-alone to gauge how well it does with audiences and how much it brings in for them. If all does go well it would be same to assume that they will begin releasing the entire series in america, though don't take my word as gospel.

Bobobobobobobo Is helarious. The anoime makes no sence, THe villians about as meanacing as my barber, and did I mention it makes no sence? but it's HILARIOUS. Me and My brother watch it, I recommend it.

Yeah, Naga, just to let you know, the Anime is a lot more appropriate than the manga.

I read up to about chapter 5 but stopped there. It was too dumb to continue. I find it to be a very unusual manga since I'm used to mangas that make sense. I don't really see how it can make so much profit but some parts can be funny (even though they don't make any sense).

I call in: BoBoBo. Same amount of syllables.

The manga's ok, but I think it's better as an anime. Plus it's at the perfect timeslot. Anything that over-the-top is even better at 10 p.m. or later.

The anime's just so insane to the point of stupidity that I have to try the manga.

How is it in terms of content?

Minor language, A LOT of blood, and the bad guy is naked but his parts are always covered by some random object.

Clean from what I could tell, but to be honest I only read halfway through it. I just got bored with it because I had already seen the anime and it was so much better.
