I prefer the manga, as it seems to have more depth to it. The anime just seemed random in comparison. A pity the Japanese version is only coming out 1 volume/six months

A further pity that we've pretty much cought up. I just wish my favorite story wasn't the one with the worst langauge.

Ha-chan is cute, and while they all need help, I think Elgala needs it most of all.

The anime was awesome, but the manga takes the series further and it appears as if it's actually going to bring the series closure. The anime just ended with Ha-Chan covering the world in blood.

Yeah, well the anime ended in 2000, but the manga is still going... so they had to make stuff up.

I'm aware. Heh. I'm kind of obsessed with Excel Saga.

I own all 12 mangas and all 6 dvds, and I think I know way too much about it.

Same here... I love them both. Was sad to hear we have to wait on Japan now...

Yep, always annoying when you have to wait for the next one, especially on Cliff-Hangers like the way Manga Vol. 10 ended.

Although the first mission of Manga 11 was my favorite Excel Saga Mission ever, when they tried to figure out what Elgala did with all that money while she was drunk.

That was hilarious... as was their stint at McDonalds. Just how the bizzarre becomes normal.

I've seen a few episodes and read the first manga. I thought the first manga was kinda borring but the show was good, except for the last eppisode. It was really REALLY....perverted. For those of you who haven't seen the last episode....you have been warned. It's like NC-17 material. Major eww factor there

As bad as the episode 26 was, the spinoff Puni Puni Poemi was even worse :eh:

The manga improves as you go... and new chara are added. Elgala really improved the comedy

I love what I've read. ^^ This is up there with Trigun Maximum for my favorite manga. I think it's probably the second. Wish I could speak Japanese, it seems like Young King Ours runs manga that I like.
Think happy thoughts.

Currently, Excel Saga is tied with CCS as the manga I own the most of.

And yeah, the first mission in vol. 11 was good.
