*jumps for joy* I just went to the mall the other day, and wasn't even going for manga. Guess what I saw on the dispaly rack! Rurouni Kenshin 10 AND 11! I just had to get them. I am so happy, 'cause i was losing faith in my bookstore. The books are really good and i noticed they quit using those drawing not done by Watsuki on the back. The new design is cool. I love paintings.
What's with the broomhead guy? I wonder if yu can really have your hair that way. I guess wires, or suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper gel. Kenshin's teacher is sure full of himself, in both books. How could Kenshin stand him? I guess I really shouldn't post stuff about the 11th yet. It would spoil it for some.

And if you guys love it thus far, you're in for a REAL treat when we get the GRAND FINALE of the Kenshin saga as Watsuki envisioned it in....the JINCHUU ARC!

I just got Volume 11 today. Very interesting but it left me wanting more. Finished it in an hour or so.
One thing, though, which I can't figure out. On the opposite page after Hiko says he will train Kenshin in HMR's final technique, he gives this line: "After all, Shishio mustn't be left as the only Hiten Mitsurugi student."
I've read elsewhere that this is a mistranslation and should be something like "As a Hiten Mitsurugi swordsman, I can't let Shishio take of this country", but is there any way the comment makes sense the way we have it translated that I'm not seeing?

Shishio might have been a student, though I don't believe he was...although he was Battousai's successor.

I got 12 a couple of weeks ago.(?) Wow! That was so cool. But as with these last few books, it leaves with a feeling of wanting more in the story. He's very good at that!

I love my Hastings.. the Kenshin books are only 7.95.. ^_^ which is what they are for all shounen Jump mangas..
and i dislike Anji.. he is a buddist preist.. I mean i have nothing against buddist preists or anything.. but i don't agree with that religion.. and dislike anji because he is so annoying.. lol

i'm planning, if Borders or Hastings has it, on getting 13 this weekend. Barnes and Noble where i live has maybe 30 volumes of manga total in the whole store, and that's being generous in my estimation. one thing i like about living where i do is that there is no sales tax. *evil grin* which makes my pocketbook appreciate my manga buying a whole lot more.

YEAH!!!!! As I sit here typing I have yet to change out of my Hastings uniform. Yeah for the green. I love my Hastings too. We have a big one and the selection of manga and anime is unparelleled. Thats one of the reasons I wanted to work there lots of anime

My hastings is medium.. but they just got anime plushies and wall scrolls!! *drools* I used to hate hastings because they never had that many mangas.. but now.. WOOOOT!! where i live there are two Hastings, each with thirty minutes.. and another is just an hour away.. haha..
