Hand-cramping bass line exercises . . .

Postby Hawk of Skies » Tue May 04, 2004 8:52 pm

I figured out an excercise/bass line for myself. After about five or seven minutes, my picking hand cramped up! Try this out . . .

Explanation of my weird note-writing: the note you'll find as its letter. In parentheses you'll find how many times to pick it. Underlined means you play it all with no pauses. Commas separate the notes.

Only the A string: A(2),Bb(2),B(2),C(2),Db(2),D(2),Eb(2),E(2),
A(2),Bb(2),B(2),C(2),A,Bb,B,C,A,Bb,B

It sounds cool and I keep wanting to just play it and play it, but the one hand can only handle it for so long, even when I switch fingers!!

Try it out and give me some feedback, huh?
