Post what you consider to be the best among movie sound tracks.
I've never seen the movie "Conan the Barbarian," but I really like the soundtrack. Probably even more than the Star Wars sound track, which, after all, I associate with Star Wars. The Conan music can be good inspiration for writing.
There are lots of other good soundtracks, though. Post 'em if you got 'em.

I dont know about 'best' because I'm sure there are many soundtracks I've yet to hear, but I suggest 'Finding Neverland' -- Jan Kaczmarek and 'Peter Pan' ---James Newton Howard. I also hear that The Village soundtrack is awesome, but I only have 'Gravel Road' right now.

Actually, I like the soundtracks from the Lord of the Rings (all three) and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Last of the Mohicans (1992 version)
Braveheart
Black Robe
Basil poulduris soundtracks:
Conan the Barbarian
RoboCop
Oh, and Alice, I'd recommend avoiding the Conan the Barbarian movie-- a lot of sex and nudity (it is a great soundtrack though)

I wasn't planning to, but thanks for the heads up.
He did RoboCop, too?
I also really like the soundtrack on Giant Robo, but I've only heard it on the show, so I didn't write that one down. But just so you know, it's cool. ^-^

The Star Wars soundtracks will always have a place in my heart. I also really like the LoTR soundtracks, especially the Fellowship of the Ring's, what with 'Breaking of the Fellowship' and 'Concerning Hobbits'.
Oo! And the soundtrack to 'O Brother Where Art Thou?' totally rules
