your favorite band on solid state records?

mine is the famine

in case you dont know what solid state records is a part of tooth and nail records.

The Chariot, hands down, no question, and every other band on Solid State sucks by comparison.

They are br00tal, raw, legendary, insane, totally sane, amazing, other adjectives.

Josh Scogin is a prophet who sees the future with unfiltered clarity and baptizes the faithful in fire and punk rock.

Don't blame me, I voted for The Chariot.

Agreed.
But Solid State is incredibly overrated and has mostly mediocre bands.
The Chariot, Becoming the Archetype, and August Burns Red are the only ones worth mentioning.

lol i never realy got into the chariot. only bands i get into on solid state though are
1:the famine (love that pantera groove feel)
2:becoming the archetype (more melodic. first albums still the best)
2:underoath (i likez mah mainsteamez)

Well...Norma Jean is just good. Nothing phenomenal in my opinion.
They kinda just ripped off Botch.
Don't get me wrong, Bless the Martyr, Kiss the Child is outrageous, but I still find that that album was just setting the stage for Scogin to start the Chariot.

The Famine is decent.

Advent is crazygood. I do prefer Beloved though.

And yeah, you're right about Oh Sleeper.
