Happy Festivus for the rest of us!

Postby ADXC » Wed Dec 23, 2009 10:28 am

Today, December 23rd, is the holiday of Festivus! Festivus originated from the show of Seinfeld.

We shall have it in addition to Christmas.

The things that make up Festivus are as follows:

1. The Festivus Pole

2. The Festivus Dinner

3. The Airing of Grievances

4. The Feats of Strength

5. The Naming of Festivus Miracles

Here is a Wiki article on it.

This is even better than Darren Bluel's "Agnostica" (The celebration for agnostic scientists. Begins on December 14th with a "half-life" of 10 days.)

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

Maokun: Ninjas or Pirates? (Vikings are not a valid answer, sorry)

EricTheFred: Vikings are always a valid answer.

Largo: "Well Ed, good to see ya. Guess I gotta beat the crap out of you now."

Jamie Hyneman: "It's just another lovely day at the bomb range. Birds are singing, rabbits are hopping about, and soon there's going to be a big explosion."

It can't be any worse than Life Day
